tee-riffic!

Cutting things a little fine with this challenge even though I started the card 2 days ago….  Anyhoo my brother has found his ‘new love’ golf and this set is perfect for his birthday this year!  And here I am voluntarily doing a sketch challenge…  go figure!  This is a SPARKS Designer Drafts Challenge from Paper Smooches, I thought it was such a fab layout!

  1. How fabulous! I must have turned this sketch in circles enough to make it dizzy, and couldn’t come up with an original idea for anything. This is AWESOME! Love the multiple greens & sand traps – gives so much dimension to the scene 🙂

  2. Such a wonderful card. You are over-the-top clever to do such a fabulous job with that sketch.

  3. SOOOOOOOOO cute! I LOVE that golf scene–my husband would love this card! FABULOUS! THANKS for joining in the fun and playing along with us over at the Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge;)

  4. Great minds do think alike! I love your take on the golf cart… super cute! I’m impressed with the sand traps. 🙂

  5. Loved the card! Have ordered the My Guy set to use for my brother-in-law later in the year. But wondering how you did the cart – fussy-cut then draw in the wheel and roof support?

    1. Thanks for your lovely comment Susan. I think I actually stamped the whole cart image onto the background and then again onto a piece of white cardstock. I coloured the golf sticks on the background part but for the remainder of the image I fussy cut it out and then popped it up with some foam tape (looks like I added glossy accents to the white cart too). Hope this is helpful, have a great (and crafty) weekend!
