*** This is my second post for today, please scroll down if you are here for AnnaBelle’s Friday Challenge ***
Here is a card I made for an amazing woman whose husband died after a long illness. She is such a fun bubbly person that a ‘normal’ sympathy card would just not do. I was inspired by the ‘chair’ image from Jay Gee’s current challenge and used a sketch (yes, you heard me right) from the Hero Arts August contest blog. Nearly finished my week of night duty…. I feel like a walking zombie, topped up with tea and pepsi for added fuel!
Other Supplies: Bazzill Cardstock – Orange.
Always glad to find another pepsi lover 🙂 Your card is so striking Therese, I just love that colour.
It’s a beautiful sympathy card Therese. The 2nd generation stamping really adds that special something.
Gorgeous. Just gorgeous.
A lovely card. Sympathy cards are not easy to make but you have done an awesome job. Hope you survive the ND…I feel tired just thinking about it!
Such a beautifully done card – so striking and special.
Beautiful, Therese!
This is so graphic and that orange color is gorgeous. A striking and beautiful card.
Absolutely gorgeous, and so perfect for the recipient from the sounds of it.
Switching shifts is a miserable thing – DH has to do it now & then, and yep, he’s the walking dead during & even after. Yucky!
I’ve really been enjoying the bold direction you’ve taken with some of your cards, and this one is no exception! It is a beauty!
Therese, she is going to absolutely love your gorgeous card! Love your design and colors and the sentiment font is great!
Hugz2u…you are a wonderful friend to have!
Therese, your card is just beautiful! The bold color is so striking.
I hope you get some much needed rest this weekend!
Beautiful sympathy card Therese! Love the colors! I really need to make more these – unfortunately.
I love orange colour and you have made the most beautiful sympathy card, Therese! Love the inner stamped panel and how the card is slim too. Great work as always:)
Even sleep deprived you churn out stunning cards!! Not an easy subject at the best of times and I’m sure she would have loved it xx
What a perfect sympathy card and beautifully crafted, a close friend of mine lost her husband recently and she too is bright and lovely as told me that she couldn’t look at the classic sympathy cards as they made her too sad , this is guaranteed to cheer her up.
