Merry

Awesome!  I found  a quick minute to join in the fun with a couple of challenges that I’ve had my eye on.  How could I resist the inspiration at Jay Gee’s Nook or adding some cork for the Canvas, Cork & Burlap Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.

Have I told you that I just had my glasses upgraded….  oh yeah, and it’s happened, they are ‘multifocals‘….  you know you’re getting old when?  So recently I’ve been enjoying the struggle of looking through ‘the right part’ of my glasses,  so far I haven’t fallen over, but that’s certainly a possibility!

  1. Gorgeous card…and I have those glasses some time now(I think 5 years)and you really get used to it..it thake’s maybe 2 weeks..but don’t take them off …wear them all the time and learn to turn your head to the things you want to see …my husband has them now about half a year and he thought he would never get used to them…..the “turn your head” …I had to tell the whole day ..and it worked…good luck!

  2. Gorgeous card…love the red stripes. BTW you made me laugh about the glasses since I know my doc will tell me the same thing when I see her next! Avoiding it but eventually will have to face the music!

  3. This is lovely Therese. That striped background you stamped is gorgeous and how adorable is that little cork tag! So sweet. Thanks so much for joining us at Jay Gee’s 🙂

Good luck with the new glasses… I think my days are numbered before I need them too 🙂

  4. First: that card is too cute! The little veneer bird? GAH! I love it 🙂
Second: I feel your eyeglass uh, discomfort? My prescription is different in each eye, so although the dr. wanted to prescribe multis, she said I’d likely end up falling down stairs with them so better to wait as long as possible. That’s not heartening! Hang on to the walls while you go, and look out for rogue kitties racing underfoot 🙂

  5. Very cute card Therese…I really love the bird on that little tag. And welcome to the world of multi-focals! You are certainly not alone…
