It’s a Special Craft Dash video!

Well why not, I had the camera set up anyway so thought I would film myself making my craft dash card.  Nothing fancy schmancy, but it does make a real difference when the clock is on, the pressure is on lol.  Anyhoo, no editing and my total time was 9 mins 50 secs.  Not bad, considering some cards take me days to make.  I hope you are having a great day, it’s STILL raining here, I’ve forgotten what colour the sky is, maybe I’d better look it up on Wiki.

  1. You made it! Well done and just under the wire too. Great CAS card! I certainly couldn’t make a card in 10 minutes – way toooo stressful for me!

    1. Hi Sue,
I get it from this obscure wedding supplies place on the Gold Coast….. would you like me to send you some, I plan on heading there real soon to ‘top up’?
      Hugs
      Therese

  2. How nice to see the whole process. It’s good to know that other people dither a bit over placement of bling too! Love the ‘created by’ on the back of the card too – what a great idea. Jenny

  3. A timer and a camera – that’s double the pressure! LOL! It would take me 10 minutes just to tie the perfect bow. 🙂 This is so super cute though and I love those smooth gems.

  4. Hey Therese. First video of yours that I’ve watched and I was surprised at your voice – much deeper than I imagined. Isn’t that funny. You were so cool under pressure. No running round your craft room to find things you suddenly realize you need. And I know how tough it was to make that bling decision in the heat of the moment. Aren’t we all way too funny – spending oodles of time worrying about making the perfect choice. TFS. Your card is luverly. Oh, I almost forgot – what tool were you using to “pick up” your bling?

  5. Gorgeous, quick card, Therese! I love the line of vases with the pink and blue flowers in two of them! The twine really sets off this linear set!

  6. I’m with Marion on having to make a card under 10 minutes! I would’t be as cool and relaxed as you appear to be in the video. Your card turned out wonderfully despite the time constraints! Love that pick up tool, where did you get that?

  7. That was so great to see you creating your beautiful CAS card, Therese. I had forgotten where you were from, so it was fun to hear your voice. You are just as neat and precise and calm as I envisioned you to be! An inspiration!!

  8. This card is so lovely! You did a great job with the colors- that row of vases is really fun!

Thank you for playing in the 10 Minute Craft Dash, Therese. I hope you can join us again soon!

  9. Seriously, creating on a deadline is hard enough, but narrating it too? I’d be peppering my narration with loads of 4-letter bombs, lol 🙂

  10. I loved watching your video. I was surprised at how calm you are – I’m always freaking out when I’m timing myself. Your card is fabulous!

  11. Really interesting video, Therese. It’s great to see your creative process in action. I agree with the others when I say I couldn’t be as calm as you seemed if I only had 10 mins to make a card.

  12. FAB card Theresa & video – I think there would be some bleeping out if I videoed my 10 minute card making – and no cleaning along the way LOL!
So glad you joined in the fun at the 10 Minute Craft Dash – hope to see you again soon 🙂

  13. I made a video of the 10 minute challenge too and it was INTENSE! Yours turned out beautifully! Super elegant. Thank you so much for playing along with us over at the 10 Minute Craft Dash Challenge!

  14. Awesome card Therese!! I love the vases with the pretty flowers! Apparently I’ve been out of the loop lately – I’ll explain why soon on the blog. Lots of things going on here!!
