Cardmaking – Back to Basics – Bringing it all together! (video)

Heaps of fun  today, actually making a quick card using all those fab inks that I was telling you about in my previous Back to Basics video.   And just in case you are missing me I’m up in sunny Cairns celebrating a friend’s 50th…   so Cheers!

Great video too..I know so well what you mean about moving things around on the card for hours…the same over here…

  2. Hi, I also love watching your creative process- and always love the final project. Sometimes I say..no not there…and then you move the embellishment– LOL! Ahh- Cairns- memories! I visited many years ago- and love the area! We had dinner at someplace called Jabiru- I think– and I recall trying things I have never eaten before- mostly animal meat- like snake!! I hope you have a fabulous time at the birthday celebration!

  3. Loved watching you card evolve, Therese … it’s gorgeous … such a lovely colour combo! I too can spend as long deciding where to put embellies as it takes to make my card! Enjoy the celebration in Cairns! Anita 🙂

  4. Thanks so much for this series. Looking forward to the next. Have to say I really struggle with the final steps of my cards. I colour stamp blend and have my card underway then its time to finish it off with a sentiment and sparkles that I love using and like you I can spend forever moving the bling around looking for that perfect position. Ahhhh they have no idea how much goes into that final look!!

  5. Such a beautiful design and color palette, Therese! I love how you placed the sequins and the thread behind your sentiment is the perfect touch!

  6. Thanks for sharing, love the card and technique. I really love watching your thought process, mine is similar with moving things around for ages. Can’t wait to see the next series, in the meantime I will have to catch up on your past videos.

  7. I’ve got no idea? Watercolouring? Sweet card – and hope you’re having fun in Cairns. Got a mag today and knew it was your Dude Combi Van card on the front cover as soon as I saw it. Gorgeous! xx

  8. Another fab card. Thanks for the series. No idea what you are going to do next. Recent series I recall dies and basics. I’m hopeful you will help/inspire me to use some of my pattern paper 🙂
I’ve spent the day in Geelong shopping now I need to put things away so I have room to play. Have a great weekend celebrating. 🙂

  9. I love these series & your videos. I learned so much and am always inspired. Love the color choices & loose threads behind the sentiments for this card. Have a wonderful weekend celebrating with your friends!

  10. As always Therese, I love your card and video! And I think I spend the same amount of time embellishing my cards as you do! lol! Hugs!
