Video : Colour with ‘U’ – Blender pen v’s pigment ink!

Something a little different for me today.  Sometimes I really struggle to get that nice ‘baby pink’ when I use Copics or pencils so decided to get out the blender pen with my Angel Pink Memento Luxe, and the colour is perfect!  I filmed as I created for you to watch.

You can see my video here or Watch it at Youtube.

This card is the reason that I went out and purchased the Dove Blender Pen, I’d been looking at them for ages and love the idea that you can swap out the nibs and refill them, it’s wonderful!

  1. I love that you chose pink and creating a shaker card was such a fun idea! Off to check out your video 🙂

  2. Such a very sweet card..LOVE the color pink..and the card!
Therese..I don’t own any Memento Luxe inks…I know they stay wet a long time…..would you advise to buy some…are they really special..I know they are chalk inks..I have chalk inks from Dew Drops Tsukikeko..they are dry very fast..
My other question is is a Dove blender pen the same as a SU blender pen?

  3. This is just brilliant Therese. OMGosh….brilliant. You have got to upload it to Virginia’s View Challenge Layers & Dimensions (I think it is still open).

  4. This is such a sweetie and love that you turned it into a shaker card. Must get myself some of the sea beads, they make such a pretty shaker. And I must say you stripe stamping is so perfect, I thought you had used patterned paper!!! You rock!

  5. Theresa, this card is as sweet as it gets! I love the shaker element and that blender pen is a great idea! You’re right, it’s difficult to get that baby pink with markers and pencils, what a great idea!
