Video : Colour with ‘U’ – You Party Animal

A quick share today with another installment in my Colour with ‘U’ series and I’m mixing it up with Copics and Prismacolor Pencils, it’s such a great way to add shading and alter colour!

  1. Therese I am jealous, you have the birds. I love these stamps, I must have these stamps. They are so full of character. Love your colouring and combining the copics with your pencils, really gives brilliant detail to the image. Great video as usual.

    1. I was so excited to get these cuties, and have made quite a few cards with them already! Thanks so much for your lovely comments, have a great day!

  2. Love your card, those birds are great. I was interested to see you use the pencil over the pens, can you tell me what that does please, Love your videos.

    1. Thanks so much for your wonderful comment. When I mix my mediums, I often like to add depth and colour by using the Prismacolor Pencils on top, especially if I don’t have the exact colour in the Copics or want to add some shadowing, the pencils are great for this. (hint – Always use your Copics first then add the pencils as they are wax based and you can’t use Copics over this) Hope this isn’t too confusing, Have a great and crafty day! Therese

  3. Those SA birds make me giggle! I love how you coloured this guy and the shine on the eyes is perfect!

  4. I’ve seen these crazy birds around the net and I can’t help but smile! Love your wonky sentiment – it matches the bird beautifully!
