One more time…

Okay, so I’m on holidays and this challenge couldn’t have come at a better time, I’ve had so much fun playing with my MFT stamps and have finally decided that I need to ‘upgrade’ my watercolours.  I’ve been holding off but obviously the fad is not passing for me, so it’s time to invest.  Now to choose, there are so many out there and it’s only for card making…   so, maybe, I need them all lol.

Here is my final contribution to the Card Design Superstar Contest at My Favorite Things.  Oh, did I tell you that I’m still liking gold?

Sadly I’m back to work tomorrow, so hunkering back underground, but with a few cards now made in advance ready to roll, cross my fingers I find just a little play time.  Thanks for the visit, I’m back with a SB video tomorrow.  Hugs

  1. Oh my gosh it’s amazing! Such a clever design Therese – love the printed acetate over the bottom section.

  2. You my friend, are a total shoe-in for the win, I’m telling you! Oh did I tell you I’m loving your gold!!! Completely gorgeous! It makes me sad that I cannot respond to your darling messages, Therese- but know they make me smile, from ear to ear! And thank you so very much…

  3. Winner, Winner…Chicken Dinner 🙂 I agree with Michele…Gorgeous card, Therese! And, I think ‘gold’ suits you very well!
Buying new water colors can be a daunting task…have you thought about which ones you like yet? I really LOVE Brushos, which we get in the U.S. from Amazon…very pricey, but really amazing pigment. Also the Koi Kuretake water colors are fabulous. Best to get one of the larger sets right off, in my opinion. Anyway, good luck! I know you will make them shine, no matter which brand you decide on 🙂

  4. Amazing card! I have Peerless watercolors and the
Kuretake Gansai Tambi set. I love playing with both. I agree, get the biggest set possible.

  5. Therese you truly deserve to win. I have loved each of your cards and you have shown such a variety in your talent. Watercolours mmmmm big decision. Which ones to get I reckon after using the zig pens and peerless nothing beats the peerless. The kuretake (sorry if spelt wrong) are rich and creamy and unique. Different altogether to the others. If I could have a container to put my distress inks without spillage so I could take with me they would win hands down. Food for thought

  6. Wow, fantastic creation Therese! Your designs are always brilliant and unique – such talent! Good luck!! And how could you not have Peerless Watercolours on your list?!! They are amazing!

  7. Oh this is STUNNING!! I Love the design and the colors you used. The little peek of the acetate at the bottom really pulls it all together. At first I thought it was die cut. I had to look closely!! I was thinking that I needed that die!!

  8. Your card design is fabulous! I love the way you’ve stamped on both sides of the angle and then die cut just the bottom portion. Good luck with the superstar challenge, Therese!

  9. LOVE this! And I’d love if you used more watercolours, you’ll be so great with them. I’d go with the Gansai Tambis. Reasonable price for quite good quality – I think. They are also very rich in colour which in card making is a good thing that you can do watercolours and get rich hues as well. And it was so amazing to receive postage straight from Japan as well. 😀 I understood only my name and my address inside and outside of my parcel… LOL!
