Altenew November Release Blog Hop & Giveaway!

blog hop banner Nov 15

I’m so excited to be taking part in my first blog hop for Altenew’s 2015 November release and if you arrived here from Anna Kossakovskaya’s blog you are exactly where you should be.  This is a special release as not only have Altenew released 10 new sets of stamps, but there are also 6 new types of 8.5″ X 11″ specialty papers!  And some exciting news as Altenew has a new illustrator, whom you will already know but a big congrats to May for the release of her beautiful new Oriental Orchid stamp sets.

For my first card today I used the layered bird stamp from  Winter Cardinal and simply added some pencil detail for some extra shadowing with a sentiment from Halftone Holiday.  Otherwise a very clean and simple design with an easy gesso and gelato background.

My second card was fun to create, I used tinsel gold embossing powder on my stamped flowers from Beautiful Lady and then coloured and spattered some Kuretake paints around,  but I did add a vellum border to the back of the popped up panel for something just a little different.

Many Thanks - Detail

Many Thanks

And my final and probably my most fave of the cards was this CAS little number which is from the new Succulents stamp set, which I adore!  The sentiment is also from Halftone Holiday and I gotta say that a Christmas cactus totally makes me smile!

Now, to the good stuff and onto the Prizes and there are two ways to win!
