Into the Woods for Christmas!

A fun and easy partial die cutting technique today using this very intricate ‘Into the Woods’ die from Penny Black, otherwise quite a clean and simple card.  And, if you are interested in how I created this card I have a guest appearance next week with a technique video…   can’t wait for you to see it!

I don’t have a lot of Chrissy shopping to do but am proud to say that I  got started this weekend.  I will not be around much in December so I know I have to be organized and if you know me then you know I hate ‘last minute’ lol.   How are things going, are you ready for Christmas yet??

  1. Adorable card. I’m gonna have to try some Penny Black stamp sets because you make such great scenes with them. Not done with the Christmas shopping but it’s all in my head.

  2. I am in awe of this card, Therese! Can’t wait to see the tutorial! I love PB Stamps, too, and need to ink them up again. Don’t think I have this one, nor the sentiments for it, either…enabler! LOL!
    Many hugs,

  3. Love the die cut. PB have got some very detailed dies at the moment. And that cute little squirrel just tops it off! Christmas – what is that? We have a house full of birthdays and parties to think about next…when I can catch my breath!

  4. Beautiful card.
I have started the birthday shopping – I have the 3 girls in 2 weeks! Then I can think about Christmas. Maybe when you are done with your shopping you can start on my list! 🙂 I seem to be getting less organised with each year!

  5. Just fantastic, Therese … that sweet little squirrel against the bold twiggy trees is just so sweet! Christmas … oh dear, is it only 37 days away … eek, I’d better get going! Hugs, Anita 🙂

  6. Were you hiding somewhere in my Two Acre Wood when you thought of this design? LOve it, Therese! I’m not a big shopper – well unless you count my crafty buys … yikes! Gift cards abound ’round here! I’ve a whole crew of fussy recipients! So BYOP works for me!

  7. What a sweet little squirrel decorating his tree. This is so cute, Therese. I’m with Michele. Teenagers prefer gift cards and the adults have a gift exchange so only one gift there. Well, two actually. One for each side of the family.
