Here is the inspiration for this month’s challenge…
I think it’s fairly obvious that I was inspired by the roses and that’s because I thought they were so beautiful. I made my panel easily, but then it took me literally FOREVER (ie over a week) to decide what to do with it from there, so finally I made myself ‘make a decision’ and in came the gold and black, phew.

So glad I’m not the only one that leaves a project half finished. I find backgrounds so easy to create but often the layering and finishing touches are difficult for me.
Your final creation is amazing. The gold and black really accents the pink roses and I love the end result.
