Video : Cards for Men – Images at Scrapbook Boutique!

Today at Scrapbook Boutique I have another installation in my Cards 4 Men using Images series.  I totally ‘had to have’ this Viking from Avery Elle and thought he was the perfect for a masculine design.  I decided to film as I created so you could watch the process.

You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at Youtube.

  1. Really awesome masculine card, Therese! I love how your Copic coloring added dimension to so many areas on this card, too…Fabulous!!!

  2. I LOVE the sentiment you came up with for this card. In fact, I was given that stamp set as a thank you gift somewhere and have had ZERO idea of how to use it. Thanks for reminding me that one can just cut off words and parts of stamps that don’t suit our style.

Tell your hubby that one of our internet admirers (me) thinks your sentiment is so funny that she’s planning to use it (and my own newly “surgically improved” viking stamp) on a birthday card for her Dad’s 80th birthday next yr. He’s American of with Norwegian ancestry so he will appreciate your humor too!

    Have a lovely week!

  3. Love this card and the fab combination of stamp sets. But even more than that I love the sentiment – I laughed as soon as I saw it – awesome! Can’t get that song out of my head now though lol.

  4. Therese…..Your card is exceptional. The sentiments are perfect. I actually smiled and laughed. This is a perfect card for anyone with a good sense of humor. I did get a little nervous when you cut the stamp….but you sure knew what you were doing. Excellent!!!

  5. I love that fun Viking and I totally agree he is more useful without the sentiment. I love how you altered him and the boat to get this fun scene, and what a funny sentiment!

  6. I really adore this super cute viking, it’s something that little bit different too, impeccable colouring and well balanced design. The sentiment is so witty and clever. Superb card and I love it!!! Hugs xx

    1. This card is awesome. I always have trouble with masculine cards, so I appreciate your series. I got the sentiment right away and love it!

  7. I laughed out loud when I read the sentiment on your card. It’s a great card and a fun nod to Prince. Love it!
