  1. HiTherese

I notice the alphabet dies are not listed in your products nor can i find them listed anywhere like Simon Sats Alternew etc. Are they not yet for sale?

Many thanks Love your clean clear slick videos they are wonderful Cheers Kerri

  2. Those alphabet dies have a great size scale and I’m SO excited to finally be able to get my gorgeous Altenew inks refreshed with the new re-inkers!

  3. Wow Therese! This card is fantastic! I’m not usually a fan of shaker cards, but after watching your video, I’m ready to make one right now. Can’t wait to get those bold letters. Thanks for the inspiration and sharing your creativity.

  4. I love this card! Love the stripes in the background, love the shape of the letters! And thanks for the opportunity to put my name in the hat. 🙂

  5. Wow, what an amazing idea to use the letter dies for a shaker card. I would never have thought to use them in this innovative way! LOVE the card:)

  6. Beautiful card! Well done. I didn’t use washi tape before BUT I may have to get the stripes. How easy to line up the stripes. I also appreciate the cheat of putting acetate on the back to make sure it works and doesn’t stick. Great card and sentiment. Thank you

  7. This is such a clever and neat way to use the letter dies. Thanks for showing how you lined up the letters…I think that method would work best for me, also. Lots of possibilities for merry Christmas card, happy birthday card, or happy halloween card, etc. 🙂

  8. Therese your card is fantastic and so is your tutorial! I love how you used the washi tape for the background, such a clever idea and it looks amazing too. I also think your way of lining up the letters was so smart, I always get mine messed up so I will give your method a try next time. Thank you for the awesome inspiration and tutorial!!!

  9. Your card amazed me !!! It’s really elegant.
I love shaker cards and I’m very happy to know I’m not the only one to ruin a card because I cannot wait for the glue to dry…. ;-))

  10. Beautiful shaker card & great idea for the bold alpha dies! Wonderful tip too add a acetate backer sheet also! Thank You for sharing along in a Fantastic release blog hop!

  11. This is such a cute card! I never attempt shaker cards…they seem so tedious…this makes me want to try again!

  12. I am so inspired!!! Fabulous video. Can’t wait to try this myself. Great idea with the washi tape.

  13. Every time I use my Altenew products, I feel like I’ve created something ‘magical’. Many times you’ve provided wonderful inspiration and your shaker here is yet another example! Fresh, fun and fabulous! As a teacher, I guarantee those letters would receive a whole lot of love in a variety of ways!

  14. I so enjoyed your video Therese. I love that you used the washi tape and love your little secret tip! I gotta try that! This is an amazing card. I just love it.

  15. Okay…you had me a shaker, but the striped lining of those diecut letters captured my attention and held it. To learn it was washi tape blew what little mind I have left. Fabulous card.

  16. I love watching all your videos and wait eagerly for each new one. Your inspiration for a card like is that “less is more”. Your ideas are so simple but so effective! Finally got my very first Altenew products and I am loving them already!

  17. I’ve been looking for this set…I love it. My Grandson’s name is Jordon…note the spelling. He is just a little guy and has never had anything really cool with his name on it. Grandma can’t wait to get these dies and send him this card! Love the card….simple but cool.

  18. Not sure if my post went through. I’ve been looking for a die set like this! I love the card and will make one for my Grandson, Jordon…note the spelling….he never gets anything with his name on it.

  19. Thanks for the extra acetate layer tip. I always have put the sequins on the cardbase because I could never be sure of getting the front on straight. Now I will try again with your method.

  20. Your cards are so inspiring and generally what I feel confident in achieving. This one is no exception. Love it. Thanks.

  21. You amaze me. I’ve not made many shakers so I’m not sure
I would attempt this one yet – someday probably.
    It is a beautiful card.
thanks for sharing and for the video.

  22. Love this delightful shaker! I’ve never considered purchasing large alpha dies but you card may have changed my mind!

  23. Shaker cards are so much fun! Love your idea of adding the extra piece of acetate – brilliant! This alphabet set has to go on my wish list. Altenew has really been breaking my crafting budget over the past few months. I just love their stuff!

  24. You are the Queen of shakers! A lovely CAS card…I love that green ink and it’s a great use of the washi. I always worry it will start to decohese if left to it’s own devices…your method will keep it well secured …Di xx

  25. thanks for such a lovely card inspiration – striped background, new colors and the die cut all combine for such a pretty CAS card
