Today I created a very quick and simple design with the STAMPtember exclusive stamp set designed by Altenew. This is a beautiful leaf layering set and it’s called Be-Leaf-Me and is perfect for so many different occasions.
I decided that I ‘needed’ to play with my new Zig real brush markers. Yes I finally caved, I bought them and I blame all of you personally, but when I say blame it’s in the nicest possible way because I already love them lol. Just look at that vivid bright watercolour!
There’s heaps of inspiration and so much more happening at Simon Says Stamp this STAMPtember, you should head over and check it out yourself.
I just had to share! Hugs
Other Supplies: Zig Real Brush Pens – Light Violet / Purple / Mid Green / Bright Yellow / Yellow / Yellow Green / Geranium Red. Cardstock – Recycled paper.
Hopefully, some Zig videos with tutorials will be coming?? LOL!! Luv your teaching!!
STUNNING!
Absolutely LOVE this!
Oh, Therese, your card sings to me. The colors, the sentiment and the simplicity. Excellent.
Gorgeous. The colours are so vibrant.
I will have to settle for watching you create with these at the moment! no space for more pens/markers 🙂
The vibrancy is just lovely…I am playing with my very limited range of Brushos at the mo and enjoying them for exactly that reason…I really like the subtlety of that Evening Grey ink…I’d also like to know what paper you used for your focal image…is it handmade? Looks great, whatever it is…Di xx
Hi Di,
It’s a recycled paper (not as thick as cardstock and it has a slight texture too). I bought it from a wedding stationery shop and am hoarding it lol. Hope you have a great day, thanks for visiting and commenting, it really makes my day, Hugs Therese
Beautiful clean and simple card. Love it.
Beautifully CAS.
simply breathtaking
Such a gorgeous CAS design, and I love how you colored the leaf with your new Zig markers, Therese! Love all the texture on your recycled paper, too….Such a lovely card! Watch out, you’re going to get hooked on those markers 🙂
Therese, you know this one would ‘leaf’ me breathless, right? Gorgeous! the layering paper looks like those handmade/pressed ones made from recycled paper – have you seen this? You put paper in a blender with water, then push it through fine screen… at any rate, your card is just brilliant, in a simple, perfect way!
=]
oh love how you used color here Therese and the rough edges and the light sentiment. So yummy.
Whoa. That purple in the leaf says “Look at Me!” Beautiful, Therese.
Lovely card – nice textural contrast with the recycled paper. You’ll have to do a video on your impressions of the Zig markers.
WOW I love your card Therese ! And I love this stamp set ! The contrast bright colors and huge white space make it so gorgeous ! And what a great idea to stamp on this recycled paper ! Well, those Zig markers seem phenomenal, but too many markers seem phenomenal. Recently I’ve seen posts with the Chameleon pens, they also seem so great. Very hard to choose and not buy them all ! Right ? Thanks so much for sharing.
This is just stunning! The paper that looks like handmade adds such wonderful texture and the colors are gorgeous!
Breathtaking, Therese … those delicious Zig colours on that single leaf, the texture-y paper, all that glorious white space … sigh, just stunning! So happy you caved on the Zigs … your colouring skills and them … a match made in heaven! Hugs, Anita 🙂
Gorgeous colours in the leaf and I love the torn edges to the paper xx
