One of the most beautiful ‘flowers’ ever and so perfect on a Christmas card, especially in ‘gold’. Our Poinsettias have just finished flowering as we are now heading into Spring / Summer here, but they do add such a brightness to the garden, actually I have a memory that they are not flowers but that they are coloured leaves? Do you know, or did I dream that? Oh, and I also decided to film as I coloured.

Are your poinsettias really large shrubs/trees? Maybe that’s what I saw recently in Queensland. We only know them as little potted plants at Christmas here. Thank for sharing.

Yes, our poinsettias are very large shrubs / small trees here and they come in such beautiful colours. Someone just wrote and told me that they saw a ‘fuchsia’ coloured one that was called a Princessettia, sounds amazing and great colour option too! I love your art so much! I think I want to case this for my Christmas card! Is that ok? I have searched everywhere online and can’t find the “deep totally tan” Colormates cardstock. Do you have a source? Or do you have an alternative that is close to the color? I want the cardstock to bring out peanut brittle ink color also like you did, perfect!. I will get the peanut brittle mementoluxe ink, found it. I appreciate your help. Any current cardstock online that I can get in US is fine with me.

I would be so happy if you case this design for your Christmas card! The totally tan cardstock is very old and was just in my stash and the closest colour that I can find in the American Crafts cardstock is called ‘Mustard’ although it is slightly more orange, but it will give you an idea of the basic shade. I used the Memento dye Peanut Brittle ink, not the luxe but if you would prefer the pigment ink then you could certainly try it, I guess it will just take a little longer to dry.
