Video : Zig Flowers from Altenew – By Request!

Time to practice with my Zigs again and so today ‘By Request’ I have recreated a card that I made for the recent Altenew release.  Of course I couldn’t make it exactly the same, but it’s close enough.  HERE is the card that I was inspired by.

You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at Youtube.

I am enjoying my Zigs, but still have a long ways to go, I am glad that I bought the bigger selection now as it saves having to ‘mix’ colours…  is that lazy?  or smart?   Anyhow, hope you are having a great day, Hugs

  1. Thank you SO MUCH for creating a video for this gorgeous card!! I am so happy!! I adored your watercoloring of the pink flowers from the Altenew “Adore You” stamp set!! Thank you!!!!

  2. Yet another fantastically beautiful card from you….your colouring technique is fabulous(wish I could colour like you)….I also love how you did the sentiment…and I’m super glad someone asked you for a video…thanks to them too…

  3. Its smart…and its fun to have choices. Your card is so pretty. I am looking forward to the video later when I sit down to do some crafting. The petals are so delicate especially with that lovely blue you chose. Fabulous.

  4. I love love love this! Absolutely beautiful! Thank you for the video! It really helps to see other people’s tips & techniques. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this!

  5. Wow, Awesome colouring Therese!!! We celebrate ‘Sinterklaas’ today here in the Netherlands but I hope to find some time to try this with my ziggies also!!!

  6. I am interested in knowing what kind of glue you used on the sequins. It looked like a bottle with a very fine tip. Could this also be used with delicate die cuts?

    1. Hi Jane,
I used a small bottle of Studio Multi Medium Matte glue which I swapped out the lid for a fine tip applicator (from Quilled Creations) which you can find here
      https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/product/Quilled-Creations-PRECISION-TIP-Empty-Applicator-Bottle-317-317QC?currency=USD
I also have a big jar of multi medium matte which I use to top up this one, and yes it is great for adding delicate die cuts, especially because it dries matt and doesn’t leave a shimmer or a sticky residue (like the Tombow glue which I also love).
Hope this is helpful, Happy Papercrafting, Therese
ps don’t push the little plastic lid down too tight… it becomes stuck lol.
