Video : Now who wouldn’t love ‘The Flower Challenge’!

Today I have the honour of being a guest for The Flower Challenge and if you know me then you know that I love my flowers!  I don’t get a chance to play at challenges very often at the moment so it was lovely to join in the fun.  I was inspired by the amazing Lydia Evans and she has a video here, thanks so much (yet again).

  3. It was nice to be able to sit with my coffee and watch this video. Haven’t been able to do that in a bit, and really missed watching you create!! This card is just so pretty, and those soft colors work so well with your design. I love that watercolored panel you’ve used beneath your die; it’s soft, subtle, and just perfect for this card. I might have to ‘borrow’ your idea soon. Really, really lovely card!

  4. Stunning Therese. Your videos are remarkable because as you talk you allow us into your thinking process….that’s wonderful.

  5. Very soft and pretty! Congrats on your guest designer spot. I do have this challenge on my list of those that I follow and am going to see what I come up with! TFS!

  6. You are extremely talented. You just whip out those cards like nothing flat, and they are all just BEAUTIFUL! Love watching, and thanks for sharing.

  7. This is just gorgeous! And, I need a birthday card for a friend – I think I might have to steal this idea.

  8. Really beautiful card Therese, I love the ombre sentiment and those Nuvo drops look amazing! Your smooshed panel was gorgeous as well!

  9. Congrats on your Guest Designer spot! Really stunning card, Therese! Your watercolored background works beautifully with this floral die cut, and I love how you used your Copics for the sentiment!

  10. Therese what can I say, its simply stunning. I have had the advantage of having the card to work from for the Flower Challenge and what was amazing is that it looked so stunning and so many bits I thought it would be so hard to case yet the girls all came out with amazing ideas. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for joining us and being Guest Designer. Your talent never ceases to amaze me.

  11. Simply beautiful and stunning! I love the die you used, and have seen you use it a while ago – great design never goes out of style! Your colour choices today are my favourites too!

  12. Hello Therese: It’s such a thrill to have you over at The Flower Challenge as our guest this month, thank you for sharing with us your amazing talent and creativity, I’m also happy to have found your blog and your awesome videos.
Your card is gorgeous, the colors are so soft and beautifully applied, all the details work together in such a lovely way, the end result is amazing.
Thank you again for joining us at The Flower Challenge as our Guest Designer, we all hope to see you back in the gallery often.
    Big hugs,
    Maria Rodriguez.

  13. This card is pretty CAS yet so soft and beautiful with many lovely details! It was a pleasure to CASEing your card, Therese! Thank you so much for your lovely comment on my blog :)!

  14. Sweet card, that colour combination is very effective. I love to see “older” dies and stamps being used (they are all I have – they complement my hair!;) Dixx

  15. I have been admiring this card ever since it was shown to us for the CASEing challenge. Wow, it’s a stunner! So simple yet so effective and oh boy, do I want that floral die – such a shame it’s no longer available. Thank you so much for being our guest.

  16. Thanks for this fab inspiration, I used the idea to make a Valentines card with a heart die!
I love the Gardenia die, it was very popular at Kylie’s HLS retreat last summer. If it has been retired it would explain the difficulties everyone had trying to get it! 🙂

  17. This is so gorgeous! I love those soft coral colors and the ombre sentiment! I’m so behind with commenting lately, but I had to let you know that I took your trick of leaving the die cut in the foam when adhering the paper to foam and it has made ALL the difference! Thank you!

  18. What an absolutely gorgeous card Therese, and a lot easier to put together than I was expecting. Love those beautiful colours, so pretty.

  19. Hi, What kind of die would I be looking for or what is a die called if I want a die like the one that is retired. It is the rose die beside the word …..because. Thank you, Wendy
