  1. This is so adorable, Therese. I love the idea of restamping although I tried it once and somehow my painted card wasn’t in the right place. Arrrgh! Do you notice that the Zig colors lighten up on the card? I have a couple that have done that and it looked like the dog’s black ear was lighter.

    1. Hi Bobby, I have ‘mis-restamped’ once on a very complicated image once and luckily the camera was on mute lol. And yes, the paints do dry a little lighter than when they first go down, but so do Copics etc. Sometimes I add a second layer after it dries or just use a brighter colour initially. Thanks so much for stopping by and for your lovely comments, Crafty Hugs, Therese

  2. This is a very happy card, and you are so right….excellent for a child….or someone young in heart. That is the best use of Altenew ‘splotches’ I’ve ever seen!!!

  3. This is a super fun card. Are you finding any difference in stamping quality with the oxides? I recently went to Paperific here in Melbourne and some comments were they didn’t stamp well but blended beautifully. I still picked up one or two! Might need to get some brighter colours – liking the pink.

    1. I am loving the way that they stamp (especially compared with the Distress inks), and have even been using them on my sentiments with great results, and they seem to dry much quicker than normal pigment inks (which I tend to avoid for that very reason, I just don’t have enough time to wait for ink to dry, that’s why I struggle with watercolouring lol). Hope you are having a great weekend, Crafty hugs Therese
