I am so excited to be joining The Flower Challenge as Guest Designer for their 1st Birthday celebrations!
You know I adore my floral stamps and today I was asked to share my favourite floral stamp… of course there is never just one, but this is one set that stands out as my ‘first favourite’ from the land of 2009!

Hello Therese: First of all, thank you so much for being our Guest Designer over at THE FLOWER CHALLENGE, helping my teammates and I celebrate this oh!!! so sweet 1st. Anniversary.
I love the water color look on this flowers, I’m always amazed when I see someone do a watercolor wash, I just can’t get that soft look, I guess I need to keep practicing.
Beautiful font on the sentiment, I love how it pops heat embossed in white.

Love the Guest Designer flower with the single flower and I love the one you did with ranaculas (Spelling). I absolutely love that set. I’m waiting for mine in the mail! There is another stamp out there that I got from Michael’s after being at my sisters last year on a wood block which is similar in some ways that hits me the same way. Love what you did!

Mine from SSS arrived today with some new crystal dew drops and crystal sequins,(no holes), and a couple of MFT stamps and dies. Well there’s no point in just ordering on thing America right?

I do love a good sketchy flower and they are perfect watercolored like this!
These are so lovely, Therese. I love the loose watercolor look but never thought of incorporating Zigs with Distress Inks to get a good accent color. Thanks for the inspiration.
