Video : 2017 Same But Different Christmas Card Series – Foiled Again!

I am so very excited to be back this year with another Same But Different Christmas Card Series.  I have an absolute blast creating these sets of cards and I hope that you will join me and enjoy the process along the way!

Today I decided to create a set using one of my new fave products for this year, foil.  I will endeavor to link all the relevant products below, in this series I do like to use my older products so not all of these will be available, but I will try and list other alternatives  if I can.

30 thoughts on “Video : 2017 Same But Different Christmas Card Series – Foiled Again!

  1. Cool cards and great ideas! I have started making Christmas cards but it’s very slow going this year (I haven’t been feeling well). The light grey card stock is really pretty and something different. I like the trees! (I can probably do something like that without buying a die?!). Thanks, Therese. Look forward to seeing the next video in your series!

  2. These look fantastic! Great saves on the striped foil. I think the cards turned out really well and I love the colour scheme. Can’t wait for the next set!

  3. I think these are awesome! So unique! I doubt anyone will notice the missing foil bits. (I often have the same issue with foiling.) Sensational work!

  4. Fabulous cards Therese…always love your same but different series..I am definitely going to try non traditional colours for my Christmas cards this year..

  5. I have been lurking in the bg here admiring your gorgeous creation videos for awhile, Therese. I love watching your videos. I purchased a MINC machine awhile ago yet have yet to use it. I am inspired by your cards to get it out and plug it in and, to come out of the closet and tell you how much I love your work.

  6. Hi Therese,
Happy to see the new series starting, very cool color scheme for this first installment. I have started making Christmas cards, about halfway done 🙂
Thank you for the videos you make all through the year, I am a huge fan of your work.
    Helen

  7. Love your series. Great if you wanted to gift a set of cards – I’m thinking of doing that to decrease my stash! Thanks for the inpspiration.
I have made a couple and will make some more when my new toys arrive but mostly I think I will try and use the ones in my stash from last year.

  8. Love this set of cards, Therese! I picked up a Minc machine and foiling supplies during the summer and haven’t given them a go as yet. You’ve inspired me to finally get it out and give it a try. Thank you! I’m looking forward to more in your series.

  9. Hi Therese
What gorgeous cards they are, both elegant and chic and suitable for male and female. Love the lack of colour too. I’m never brave enough making my own Christmas cards and usually stick to red and greens or blues and Browns if I’m being brave! Maybe I should try something different?

  10. I LOVe when you do this series! I always end up so inspired! This colour palette is awesome – always good to see something besides red and green! 🙂 Trying to pick a favourite but it’s pretty impossible. They all rock!

  11. Love this series! These are some gorgeous cards. Looking forward to the next batch. I have about 1/2 my cards made, so I can leisurely finish them up in November.

  12. Beautiful cards. I’m in a foiling mood so I may have to try these. Love the silver, white & black color scheme. TFS.

  13. Love your ideas for the foiling. I have the Minc and supplies but haven’t used it yet. You’ve inspired me.

  14. Beautiful cards! I enjoyed seeing how you “saved” your imperfectly foiled pieces. I have had the same problem. I now let my laminator heat up for a half hour; that has helped immensely. Sometimes I add a piece of cardstock below the cardstock and foil; that helps too.
