Waffle Flower Crafts Release April 2018!

It’s time for the new release at Waffle Flower Crafts!  To celebrate we are hopping along and you should have arrived here from Nichol’s amazing blog!

I have two cards to share today using the fabulous Sandy Toes stamp set and coordinating dies.  I wanted to have a ‘watercoloury’ look and used a combination of Distress Inks, Zigs and Inktense pencils, this gave me the colours and effects that I wanted.

I decided to add a simple sentiment from the new Rainbows Stamp set.

My second design uses the Sandy Toes stamp set again (can you tell I am loving this one!) and I wrote in the sand with a Rainbows sentiment stamped in Coffee Loves Milk Ink.

The rectangle border die comes from the Rainbow Panel Die set.  Love these new Combo packs, they are so clever and cute with the rainbow packaging!

  1. Therese fabulous cards, love these new stamps, so make me think of the beach with the kids. You have caught the scenes so perfectly.

  2. What wonderful images – Waffleflower have done it again – given us images that capture “fun on the beach”. I love your use of watercolours to add whimsy to the scenes.

  3. The Sandy toes set is amazing love all the different ways to make a card and bouquet build is excellent also…… always gotta have flowers.

  4. I’ve been missing as of late, Therese, but wanted to make sure I stopped today and visited your blog. So happy I did! The boys on your card remind me so much of my oldest and youngest when they were little, and you’ve made me smile just thinking of those days gone by. The beach you’ve created for them is fantastic, and I do love those images!! The sweet little girl on that sand dune is beautifully framed. I think my cc might be in trouble, and I will be heading over to WF to see the full release in a second, lol! Gorgeous card, my friend. Love these!! : )

  5. Here, the snow is falling (still…) and the temperature is a ‘balmy’ minus 20C, so your beach cards are precisely what’s needed to brighten and warm my day! Fresh, fun, fabulous!

  6. Awesome card with the little girl. Love the colors and maybe water coloring? Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful week.

  7. Cute little girl card and fun guy card!!! Thanks for sharing your talent and inspiration!!!
    Paper Hugs,

  8. I think this new beach set is going to be very popular especially in the areas still covered in snow. lol Very cute cards as always. 🙂

  9. Sweet card of the girl, love how the soft background makes her pop even more. And yes, I’d like to be her right now!

  10. I sooo want to be at the beach! Alas, I am in MN with 8 new inches of snow, ugh! Thanks for the inspiration and the beautifully watercolored cards.

  11. I think I’ve decided which set I’d like to buy first! Thanks to you.😉…….your cards came out so cute and fun!! TFS~

  12. Lovely beach scene.
I have not owned any waffle flower stamps as of yet.
I think after seeing these cool products in this hop I need me some.
    Thanks for sharing inspiration.

  13. Therese, these cards are so simply beautiful and just conjure up the joy of being at the beach! I love that you “wrote” in the sand! What a clever idea! You always surprise us! Thanks for that! Way to go! : )

  14. Two wonderful cards! Your water coloring shows off these images beautifully. The sweet simplicity of the little girl warms my heart!

  15. These are great cards Therese. The water colouring with this set is really great on your cards, it looks very fun and whimsical. Well done.

  16. I just love your videos, I must get bake to watercolor. You always make it look so easy. Beach scene is my favorite stamp set.

  17. Oh my goodness, everyone’s ready for summer and your cards are perfection!! Love your soft coloring and designs!

  18. I am normally a critter lover rather than people characters on cards. But this stamp set is so fun, every card I have seen throughout this blog hop has been different (obviously) but the characters have told a different story even though they are the same characters. It is such a cool stamp set. Thank you for sharing your designs with us crafters. :O)

  19. I love the sandy toes set and what you did with it! Love how it looks like he’s running off with his borther’s shirt (you can almost hear ’em hollerin’!) and it’s so cute to see her shrugging off her shirt like that!!

  20. I so love the softness you’ve achieved with your sand and water. I am so anxious to play with this cute set – you’ve given us such sweet ideas. Thanks for sharing.

  21. Really enjoyed your two cards of the sandy toes beach set! I like how you framed the second card! The colors are great on both with a watercolory feel. Cheers!

  22. The stamp set is so cute and your card shows what a really fun stamp set it must be. Thank you for sharing your beautiful card.

  23. I love that first card where it looks like the dad is racing off to the sea and the kid is like “Dad!! Why am I carrying the surfboard?? Wait for me!” Hilarious. Also, the backgrounds you made for these are a gorgeous use of watercolor. Thank you for sharing with us!

  24. These beach kids are just having too much fun, I love the motion and movement in these images! Wonderfully done!

  25. Great cards, Therese……love them! Great new Waffle Flower release, and it looks like ‘Sandy Toes’ is the favorite – it’s the thought of summer days coming soon! Thanks for the chance to win a giveaway…….

  26. Just home, and I couldn’t wait to see this release, Therese!! OH do I LOve this set… and the little stories your cards are telling us! DArling…
