Video : Quick Tip – Precision Tip Applicator!

I have a ‘Quick Tip’ video for you today showing how I assemble and some tips for my fave ‘fine tip applicator’.  I have tried so many different brands and this is the one that I consistently have the best success with.

You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at Youtube,

  1. Hello Therese: How’s your fabulous vacation going? Oh, I bet you and your hubby are having a wonderful time, so I hope you will soon share some pictures of the places you are visiting.
I love, LOVE this little dispenser bottle, it has just about the most perfect tip for applying glue to your projects, the tip cover is indeed a bit hard to remove when you need to so it’s a great idea not to push it way too far down.
Thank you for sharing this tip with us, keep enjoying your time off with your husband.
    Big hugs,
    Maria Rodriguez.

  2. Hello and thanks Therese for this video. I, too, have struggled with finding a solution to this problem. This post was so timely for me. Hope the holiday is going swimmingly and looking forward to seeing more holiday snaps!
    Cheers

  3. Have you ever had the glue dry in the metal tube? I like the glue and the ease of application with the precision tip. However I have not had luck with Jennifer McGuire’s burb technique. If I am lucky enough to find a pin thin enough to fit in the metal, it turns the glue ugly brown if I leave it in.

    1. Hi Susan, I have found that the glue rarely dries in the tip, but I do use this particular glue a lot (and I suppose that could help). I do not ‘burp’ it and often I store it upside down, though sometimes it is just the way that it falls. I have heard that you can sit it in hot water to help… but I’ve not tried this. I have found that a fine long injection needle fits the best if I do ever need to, but really I’ve just used that on my other ‘fine’ tip applicators. So I suppose my best tip could be to use it often. Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and comment, Crafty hugs, Therese

  4. well. guess WHO did pull the nib out of her FIRST bottle? go ahead… guess.
    =] xx
you’ve been awfully quiet … betting your are too busy having a blast with the DH!

  5. I agree with you, that is exactly what I do with my Multi-mat medium. I did the same thing with Glossy Accents though and once the bottle was empty, I could not get that cap off to save my life! I hope you’re having a wonderful time, Therese. I also hope you find a nice hot clean shower and amenities once in a while along the way!

  6. Me too, Therese … that’s just how I use the fine tip with multi medium matt … and glossy accents … and store them both upside down. Works a treat! Hope your travelling and adventuring is working a treat too! Hugs, Anita 🙂

  7. Hi! Can’t find where to comment for the Altenew blog hop so I’m here on this one. Hope it’s the right place to comment and say I love how you did the ‘T’ that was cool!
