Video : Easy Rainbow Pinstripe Background & Valley of the Giants Snippets (+ more)!

Multicoloured stamping is so much fun, especially when it’s in the colours of the rainbow!  Today I have a video showing how easy it is.

I used the Altenew Pinstripe background stamp set and die cut a panel using the Waffle Flower Crafts Rainbows Border Die.

My Critter Crew is from Avery Elle and sentiment from My Favorite Things Anything But Basic Birthday Wishes stamp set (one of current new faves).

You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at Youtube (with some more travel snippets).

And a couple of trip photos too, starting with the Fitzgerald River National Park (WA).

might need 4WD for this road…..

I’m holding on with both hands here (at 40m high) in the Valley of the Giants!

the Bicentennial Tree 75m high and was used as a fire lookout (you can seriously climb this).

and some more tall trees,

the Leeuwin Lighthouse,

which is where you find a cow (with a telescope, of course)

And just in case you are missing me at the moment we are currently ‘off the radar’ travelling the Gibb River Road, which is 700km long and takes a minimum of 7 days 4WD, so I will be back when I can, hopefully with some great pics.  Thanks so much for your visit today, big crafty hugs,

  1. Wow! Great photos of your adventures…and of course your card is so innovative as always. thanks for sharing…

  2. Your card is adorable ! Rainbows are always a good idea, I never see too many of them on cards !

Thanks again to share your fantastic adventure with us ! I live in Switzerland, in a big city (well for Switzerland at least – LOL !) and I’m already happy to see some small birds when I go out for a walk with my dogs. Seeing an hedgehog is fantastic for me, I will remember forever seeing a fox last night outside my building.

So imagine my reaction when I watched your video. Being able to be in the wild and see all the incredible animals must be….. I cannot find the word to express what’s on my mind. But I’m sure you got it !

I cannot wait to see the future video ! Have fun !

  3. This is a great card, but even better are the pics from your trip. What a wonderful adventure.

  4. This is such a fun card! I love how you created the rainbow stripes for the background 🙂 Thanks for sharing your photos and videos of your vacation. What a beautiful place!

  5. Hi Therese, cute card! Thanks for sharing your adventures, looks like you’re having a great trip! I don’t remember seeing that cow with her telescope, I think I would have remembered that! LOL Those beautiful trees!!

  6. Glad to see you are still enjoying your holiday. Love the cow, not so enamoured of the idiots who feel it is okay to damage and deface living things by carving their names. Complete idiots. Continue to enjoy to yourselves and watch out for wildlife, animals not nightclubs!

  7. Great photos…Thanks! We’ll miss you while you’re off the grid, but it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity…Have a great time!!!

  8. Thanks for sharing part of your holiday, enjoyable to see and read where you are. Gorgeous card.

  9. Awww such a sweet card and so pretty with the rainbow background! Love the photos following – wonderful pics, wonderful country and super photography! So out of the ordinary – very special!

  10. I am enjoying touring Australia more than checking out card blogs. What an amazing place. Couldn’t do it myself because I really can’t do heights. Thank you so much. Fun card too.

  11. Love your cute card today and am really enjoying your trip. It is so amazing to see a place I will probably never get to see in person. Thanks for sharing with us all.

  12. Lovely card … but woh, that long a road? What if someone breaks down! Lovely photos/video – love the echidna!

  13. You are so brave, Therese, I ,too, not like heights and would NEVER, EVER walk where you did!! I applaud you for card making while on your trip. I loved the photo of the cow!! Your card video is excellent as is your trip video. I googled Echidna and was interested to read about this egg laying mammal. Thank you for sharing your beautifully, rugged country!

  14. Wonderful card, Therese! I love the coloring on those cute animals and what a fabulous background to give them! I am so glad that you and your husband are taking this opportunity to tour the country! Such an amazing experience!

  15. Your card is adorable, Therese … rainbow stripes and those cute critters … such a sweet recipe! Oh my, your video clips … how amazing to see the echidna … it must’ve been amazed to see you too! I’d be over that bridge and up the tree … imagine the view from the top! Hope the Gibb River Road was awesome … looking forward to seeing pics already! Hugs, Anita 🙂

  17. Oh sheeesh!! I missed this post, but I’m catching up now Therese and your card is so adorable, love how you made the rainbow and the little critters are so sweet.
The pictures and video of your trip are amazing, I’m struck by the hight of those trees, I don’t think I would have climbed that one either.
The lighthouse is amazing and the cow hilarious.
    Thank you for sharing.
    XO
    Maria.
