Video : Nearly No Line Prismacolor Pencil Colouring & Holiday Snippets!

Today it’s time to Colour with ‘U’ and I decided to ‘no’ line colour with my Prismacolor Pencils.  Well, it’s not actually ‘no line’ it’s just that it gives the effect of no visible lines when it’s coloured.  The trick is to use a nice light coloured ink to stamp the image with (it’s all smoke & mirrors lol).

And this is my all time fave ‘cake’ stamp from Concord & 9th and this cake is for a special friend’s birthday and so it just had to have  sparklers!

I decided to video the process,
You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at Youtube.

I thought today I would include some pics from our Gibb River Road trip, one of the iconic road trips in Australia and we spent a fun hot dusty 9 days travelling the 660kms.

Hope you are all having the most amazing week, Hugs

  1. That’s one scrumptious … and scrumptiously coloured … cake, Therese … how fun to have those sparklers alight over it! Awesome, majestic photo’s of the latest leg of your trip … so dramatic and striking. Is there really no-one else around except the two of you (and the croc!)? Hugs, Anita 🙂

  2. Gorgeous card and coloring. And just amazing photos of your trip. The photography is lovely. Those will make for a nice scrapbook.

  3. I love coloring with colored pencils and so I do pay close attention when you are coloring with them. The card is stunning, as are your pictures from your trip. What an awesome journey, and it is the journey, not the destination…so they say! Lol!

  4. yum that cake looks so good – and the sparklers are very cool. Really great card! and I love seeing any holiday pics!

  5. Loved this video as I do all your videos. Always learn something new while watching you and do love peeking at your vacation photos – very stunning. Thanks

  6. Thank you for this fantastic video, both for the amazing card (I’d love to be able to do a no-line card as fantastic as yours, but I still need plenty training – LOL !!!) and for the gorgeous pictures of your adventure. Your country is really stunning ! Thanks again for sharing all these beauties with us.Cannot wait to discover the next video !

  7. Hi there Therese and thank you for this fantastic video. Love the way you colored this beautiful image, which happily I own, with your Prismacolors, I’ve been using them a lot lately and without the Gamsol, they truly blend beautifully.
As always, it’s a delight to see and hear you when you are creating your amazing cards, I enjoy sitting here watching you do your magic.
And the pictures of your vacation are amazing, what fun to be able to just hit the roads and visit all of this incredibly beautiful parts of your Country, road trips are the best.
Thank you again for sharing this experience with us.
    Big Hugs.

    Maria.

  8. My goodness where to begin: Your card is wonderful and such fun for me to watch you create!

However, your vacation video simply made my day. I will never visit Australia…..I’ve been able, thanks to you, to marvel at the landscape and critters too! Thank you very much for sharing your adventure and beautiful country.

  9. I love your beautiful cake card! The cake reminds me of a vintage card you would see in the 1940′ or 1950’s. The scenery is absolutely amazing. At the end of your trip would you be able to show a map with your route shown on it? That way we could get an idea of the length of your trip. The number of miles doesn’t convey the message like seeing it on a map.

  10. I love that cake too but haven’t colored it with pencils. I will have to try that since yours looks so gorgeous, Therese. I do think the sparklers add a lot to the card too.
