Video : Altenew Build-A-Flower: Hyacinth Blog Hop & Giveaway!

Today I share yet another easy watercolour technique for the Altenew Build-A-Flower: Hyacinth release.  We are hopping along to celebrate this new release and so you should have arrived here from OLGA’s wonderful Blog.

I added my ‘watercolour’ today using the Altenew ink pads and you can see how this card came together in the video linked below.

Altenew - BAF - Hyacinth - Flower Vine - Therese Calvird (card video) 1 copy

These Enchanted Garden purples have my heart and it also seems like the Green Valley inks have trumped the Tropical greens (who woulda thought).

Altenew - BAF - Hyacinth - Flower Vine - Therese Calvird (card video) 1 copy

The sentiment for this design came from the Flower Vine Stamp Set which has a classic font style and they are small enough to add to any card design….

Altenew - BAF - Hyacinth - Flower Vine - Therese Calvird (card video) 1 copy

and especially perfect if you forget to ‘allow’ for the sentiment with the actual card design as I often do lol.

You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at YouTube.

  1. These gorgeous blooms sing Spring to me, Therese! and OH their fragrance – bar none, the first my nose catches in the greenhouse! Yikes, you’ve teased me brutally as Winter has just begun! But, I’ll forgive you, and thank you for the reminder that ‘this, too, shall pass!’
