It’s release day at Ellen Hutson and I have 2 cards and a video to share with you using the sweet new Little Lady Stamp Set.
Isn’t it fun that this line of stamps is now becoming a family! For my first card design I was bold and left the image as ‘line art’, this is something that I truly struggle with but it just seemed to work.
My loose background was watercoloured with Gansai Tambi paints and the sentiment die cut with the Block Words and embossed using the Totally Random Sayings Vol 1.
My next card is a real clean and simple design and it was fun to colour this Little Lady with some Prismacolor Pencils.
And this time the sentiment came from Totally Random Sayings Vol 2.

This stamp is sweet. Your card is excellent! Your video is wonderful! I rarely use my stamp blocks, I prefer using Misti even though Misti cards take me long time; however the precision is very helpful to me.

This little lady is so cute. Love your cards! I use my Misti a lot, mostly for things I know will need to be stamped more than once. But I do use my blocks fairly often, too.

SO cute! Love the lollipops coming down. Looks like she caught one! I have to say that I use my blocks more than my stamp positioning tool. I use the latter if I want to stamp more than once or am using multiple stamps at once or want to make sure I get something straight. Otherwise, I still use my blocks. I love this card. The little girl is adorable. I use the Misti and blocks. It depends on what I’m doing as to which. Sometimes on a card, I’ll use both. But I probably use the Misti more.
You’re so funny! I do notice that you use the blocks on many of your videos, but you’re really good with them. I’m better with the Misti, so that’s what I tend to use most often. One of my granddaughters turns 11 next month, and to compliment the trimmer/scoreboard we got her for Christmas, she’s getting a stamp set or two, and a set of acrylic blocks for her birthday. I think it’s important to know how to use them properly before investing in more expensive tools. Love both of your cards, and especially love the cascading lollypops! Your coloring is pretty darn incredible, I might add! Always fun to stop in and see what you’ve made! Happy 2019. xo Bev
Your little ladies are a delight, Therese … both of them! That’s such a pretty watercolour background for her in line art form … and I do love that cascade of bright lollipops in the colour version. Always inspiring to see you colouring. Blocks v Misti … some of each, much like you … blocks for quick stamping, though if there’s a risk of messing up after a lot of work, or a need for multiples, it’ll be Misti that takes the strain.
