  8. Very pretty card. I like how you grouped the outline florals. I also appreciate the video showing your watercolor technique. I have ZIG markers and am not happy with what I’m producing so I think this may help.

  9. Another amazing floral stamp set from Altenew and a beautiful card from you Therese. The blue flower is so pretty and I totally agree with you about the third green on the leaves. Lovely.

  28. This is so nice. The blue against the light background makes the dahlia stand out well. Thanks.

  29. Loved it as usual….I chuckled when I heard you use the US pronunciation of dahlia…..had just given Laura some cheek and said the Aussie pronunciation usually stresses the day first syllable…..then the Aussie on board makes a lia out of me… love it.
I tried the big Altenew flower and used all the blue greens of the watercolour brushes and was more impatient than you and lived to regret it!….day 29 of daily marker. So too late to worry

    1. My pronunciation may be because I am originally from Victoria?? But generally I find that even though Australia is such a large country the accent is fairly similar all round, often it’s just a few words that sound different or have a different meaning. When I lived in the UK in Bristol you could tell which side of town people came from by their accent! Hope you have a fabulous day, Hugs Therese

  30. Thanks for the great video showing us how to watercolor the beautiful flower and leaves! You make it look so simple. Love your card design with the outlines and just one flower with color. Thanks for sharing!

  61. I was intrigued by the mix of black outline background with the single colored die cut of the bloom/leaves. I think I need to try that when my stamp set arrives. I especially liked the choice of a blue flower.

  62. Therese, I love your design with the outline stamped background and then the soft blue flower layered on top! This is so pretty. A gorgeous new stamp set!

  73. Hello Theresa! Love your work. Especially the the non-colored prints below the colored one – It’s a fabulous presentation. It almost looks like it is on canvas – and it appears an ivory color – was this the pale gray card stock? It really looks different. Thanks for the inspiration! Denise

    1. hi Denise, Yes it is the pale gray cardstock. My apologies but was an overcast day and I think that may have affected the tone on the photo, it seems to bring out the warmness of the Altenew Pale Gray. Thanks so much for your lovely comments, Crafty hugs, Therese

    thanks!

  76. Hi Therese 🙂 Lovely, lovely card!!! Soooooo much depth that I could’ve reached right out and plucked it! A wee disappointed that you awarded early, but a lovely card nonetheless! Thanks for the inspiration 🙂

    1. Hi Connie, So glad to hear that you like my card! I would not like you to think that I did award early and you missed out, but I have it noted on the post that I use AEST which is Australian Eastern Standard time and I was actually a day late this time lol. But, maybe next time. Thanks so much for visiting and for your lovely comments today. Crafty hugs, Therese
