  31. That is a great set! I was just talking to my sister, and she got her very first Altenew set this week. I kind of raved about Altenew’s quality, and hopefully, we’ll be able to craft together and she can try out my sets. Your card is gorgeous. This week I’m in a yellow and polka dotted mode. Your flowers pop against your dp so well. That sentiment works to compliment your paper too. Another great video, btw! Have a wonderful weekend my friend! xo

  35. Love this card, Therese! I never would have thought about using watercolors to create a base paper from which to cut these die flowers. And I missed this set—-How did that happen? 39. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent, Therese, as usual your cards are gorgeous!

  41. What colorful and eye-catching cards! I love the 3D dies as they add such depth to the card. Yes, I’m starting to be very fond of black and white striped backgrounds.

  42. The colours of these new watercolour brushes are so appealing to me. Makes me long to be on an island in the Caribbean. Ah well… I’m on a beautiful island, but much further north. lol I’ve looked at layering die sets without the stamps & wondered what I’d do with them, but I sure like what you created with them by painting the paper first, then cutting & layering. Great card! Thanks.

I don’t have watercolor markers (but I may have to get this new Tropical Fiesta set), but I think I’ll try it with my Tombow markers.

  59. A gorgeous card, Therese! Love the bright flowers against the black & white! (One of my favorite backgrounds also!)

  60. I just love my Altenew 3D flower die cuts – and creating them out of the watercolor paper with these markers is a brilliant idea. The flowers look so unique – it’s hard to believe they came from the same dies. Love the black and white texture in the background too. Such a happy card!

  61. Love. love. love. the contrast between the geometrics and the florals also between the b&w and the yellow/orange. Terrific card! Thanks for the inspiration 🙂
