Today I share 5 cards using the Penny Black Abstract Flowers Die Set including some not so ‘flowery’ designs!
This is part of my Gimme 5 Series for Penny Black and if you haven’t seen these before then you can check out heaps more at my YouTube Channel Here.
I started with what I thought was an obvious design and a great way to use up some scrap cardstock.
It was as easy as some die cuts including a fab sentiment from Penny Black’s Awesome Die Set.
My second card is similar in that they are flowers again, but this time I have a monochromatic colour palette and added some Textures to the front of the card
as well as to the flowers using the Swirled background stamp.
My next design may be my fave, it’s time for a negative space die cut flower
and a simple sentiment from Happy Hugs.
Next I’m changing things up…. it was time to create a polka background.
I need something to sit this cute little bear from Smiling on to!
and finally some colourful windows for these Critter Celebration mice to peek out from.
The sentiment for this design comes from the Smitten stamp set.

These flowers are so cute! Think of all the color combos you could create quickly, right? And those little critters in the flower circles are adorable!
Oh, very clever! I love those funky circles turned into flowers and cubby holes for little critters. Must have a go at this sometime. TFS
Love those retro flower cards and how you used the texture stamps. The irregular circles look great as mice windows too.
