Today I share 2 cards using the Altenew Beloved Daisy Stamp Set. This is part of my Take 2 with Therese video series with Altenew and if you haven’t caught any of these videos before I have a link to my playlist with more inspiration HERE.
This post is a Stamp Highlight using the Beloved Daisy Stamp Set and I have 2 different cards using the same sets and the same colours but they are both quite different.
Starting with a emboss resist technique. I heat embossed the daisy images and used a smooshing technique to create a watercolour effect background.
I added one of the frames from the Fine Frames Cover Die.
And a two toned sentiment from the Weekend Doodles Stamp Set.
For my second design I added some images that I had stamp layered and die cut with the coordinating dies.
I also added some Mask Stencil images to the background.
And the sentiment was heat embossed onto one of the Handmade Tags Dies.

Love both the cards, especially that lovely bouquet. Just sent the post to my sister-in-law who loves bright yellow and pink. Her craft room is the brightest yellow I have seen in a long time, accented with bright pink.

Just saw your Altenew post so came by to pin the emboss resist card which I LOVE! Great tip for adding that last stem & you really make me want to do smooshing with a piece of acetate–something I’ve seen before, but haven’t tried. Wonderful inspiration today, Therese!

Your second card is just perfect for Mother’s Day or any other occasion, bright and cheerful, and that twine bow is just the perfect little detail.
I always forget what kind of twine you use, I love it because it creates the most amazing bows.

I use the Hemptique twine that I use, but it’s a very fine one (although I have some of the thicker ones too). I love the colours that they have and I don’t think I will ever run out… have you seen the size of the rolls lol. Thanks so much for your lovely visit here today, Crafty hugs, Therese

The smooshing over the embossed daisies is so colorful, Therese. I love the colors you used. What a great idea to combine stamping the flowers and then die cutting others to pop up. Both cards are fantastic.
