Today I share a video shaking up some colours with stamp layering, but first did you know that this is part of a Hop celebrating the new release from Altenew and if you are hopping along you should have arrived here from KATHLEEN’s fabulous Blog!
I have started with a very clean a simple card using the Peaceful Reverie Stamp Set, this is quite a unique set that uses a ‘dot’ to add layers but I changed it up by just using the beautiful solid images.
I used the coordinating Mask Stencil to do some simple masking and added a sentiment from the Fancy Greetings Stamp Set with the incredible new Obsidian Black ink…….WoW!
I have a video sharing how my next card came together, I used the Sunflower Daisy Stamp Set and mixed up some ink colours to create a unique look. I added some papers from the Blushing Blooms Paper Pack.
And a sentiment embossed on Navy Cardstock from the Delicate Flower Bed Stamp Set (this set has the funnest sentiments!).

I love the graphic style of the first card. It reminds me of Marimekko.
You make the layering stamps look so easy. I struggle with that process so I stay away from them. I do think the look is fabulous and Altenew rocks with the floral layering stamps

I hadn’t had time in so long to watch your videos (those darn husbands….lol), but found a spare few minutes this morning. Very happy to have seen this one. Those layering stamps are gorgeous, and I do love all those bright colors against those amazing papers! Btw…I like the gray centers. They show up nicely and allow the petals’ colors to shine. Beautiful card! As is your first one…Those colors together look amazing! That’s a card that will surely put a smile on someone’s face. Love that you chose not to use the dots on this and went with those rich blues and that soft tan. Love these!! : )
