Altenew June 2019 Stand-alone Die Release Blog Hop & Giveaway + Video!

Today I share a video with a fun take on how to use a Cover Die, but first did you know that this is part of a Hop celebrating the new release from Altenew and if you are hopping along you should have arrived here from LILITH’s wonderful Blog!

I have two cards today and I thought I needed to start with the beautiful Virginia Rose 3D Die…..   isn’t it amazing!  And if you are loving these 3D dies from Altenew did you see that I have a new class starting soon at the Altenew Academy which will be focusing on all of the 3D floral sets so if you want to know more details head HERE.

And if you want to WIN a place in my class you have to head to my blog post HERE, but Be QUICK, I will draw the winner real soon!

I created my Rose with some design paper from the Enchanting Washes Paper Pack and made this my focal point.

Altenew - Virginia Rose 3D Die - Nesting Labels Die - Therese Calvird (card) 1 copy

I also added a sentiment from the Flower Vine set onto one of the new Nesting Label Dies.

My second design was such fun to make and you can watch the process in the video linked below.  I added a wash of Watercolor to the background and added the Dainty Blooms Cover Die.

I used Artist Markers to colour the inlay flowers and then popped up a sentiment from the Delicate Flower Bed Stamp Set.

    1. Hi Gail, I simply die cut the same size nesting die twice (in white and gold) and then used a pair of scissors to cut the edge of the white one away along the debossed line. I hope this makes sense.
