Ellen Hutson & Power Poppy Blog Hop & Giveaway!

Now if you know me you know that I adore flowers and these new stamps are irresistible!  So… I had to make 2 cards to share with you today celebrating the Ellen Hutson & Power Poppy Hop and if you are joining the fun you should have arrived here from LESLIE’s Amazing Blog!

I started by creating my own background by repeatedly stamping a flower from the Strong and Beautiful Stamp Set.  I used my Copics to add ‘pink’, yes I know….  not my ‘go to’.

Lostinpaper - Power Poppy - Strong and Beautiful (card) 1

The sentiment is from the same set which I coloured to match and added a couple of sparkling clear sequins to finish.

My second card uses a floral frame stamp from the Floribunda Stamp Set.  I kept it as line art and cut out a rectangle frame and then I decided to inset the remaining portion.

I added a Prismacolor Pencil coloured Hummingbird and a heat embossed sentiment from the Summer Berries Stamp Set.
