Today I share some easy Copic Colouring in Real time with a couple of tips and tricks along the way.  I kept the card design simple so that the focus would be to Colour with ‘U’!

I have a sweet image from Uniquely Creative which is from a set called Read Past Your Bedtime.

The sentiment I used today is from Totally Random Sayings Vol 2 which has the best coordinating fonts!

  1. Therese I love this stamp. I am a big fan of copic colouring so I am always looking for any tips I can pick up on while watching videos. I have a granddaughter going into 3rd year of university that has a birthday coming up and think this would be a perfect card for her. Thanks – timing is perfect!!

  2. Love your card Therese. The shading you did on the chair is amazing. It just gives the image more depth and it has the look of fabric with the sense of light and shade. I’ll have to try your technique. Thank you for another great video.

  3. Fabulous card Therese, love the colouring and you’re shading is fabulous! Love the slap cheek LOL

  4. I love how you colour, its lovely to watch. I need to step back and wait sometimes when I am colouring. The OCD in me is finding it hard that you missed some of that lovely pink on her left arm 😉

  5. Fantastic fun set, must go see what they have, like it when you fine different types of designs not just same all. Your video was very helpful to me as when it comes to.alcohol markers or watercolour paint I have no confidence at all in what I’m doing. But give me pencil crayons, oil paint or acrylic paint & I’m much more confident, how does that work ????

  6. Fun colors, and so fun to watch you color in real time! She’s such a lovely girl in her pink and orange! It’s really a great sentiment to go with her too!

  7. What a great card.

I’m curious to know how many alcohol markers you do have? I started buying a little while ago and find most blend together ok and trying to concentrate on gaps in colours that I will use. Must try the tip to tip technique and also shading with pencils which I know you love to do to.
Love Uniquely stamps and dies they really have some fun designs – lucky for me my kids aren’t little or I’d be broke! HaHa

    1. Hi Vicki, I have more markers than I need at approximately 100 copic Sketches and of course all of the Altenew ones. My problem is I wish I had of known which colours it was that i needed before I bought them as I always go for the same colours all of the time anyway. Now I think long and hard before I commit to buying any new ones, and pretty much just buy the refills for the colours that I own instead. I would definitely recommend ‘filling any gaps’ that you have as that was a major problem for me not using what I had and once I did that I was able to use all of the colours.I do hope you find some time to colour soon, Crafty hugs, Therese

  8. Such a sweet scene, Therese … I did enjoy watching you colour (always do!) … you share so many great ideas not just for Copics but for colouring in general … thank you! Hugs, Anita 🙂
