Today my video is all about Tartan, Och Aye! But first, did you know
that this is part of a Hop celebrating a new release from Altenew and if you are hopping along you should have arrived here from AMBER’s fabulous Blog!
I have 4 cards and a video to share today starting with a little watercolor number using the Retro Plantines Stamp Set and some Watercolor Brush Markers.
I added a simple layered sentiment using the Hugs and Hello co-ordinating stamp and die set.
My next card uses Gradient Cardstock and the Parlor Palm Die Set with the Layered Floral Elements Die to create a bright floral ‘all over’ design.
The sentiment is heat embossed from the Retro Plantines set.
My most simple design is for a sympathy card and uses the fabulous Mod Vases Stamp Set and some leaves from the Vase Fillers Stamp Set.
Again I added a sentiment from the Hugs and Hello set but this time I heat embossed it on some Lagoon cardstock.
My final card and video uses one of my faves from the release (although seriously it is hard to choose a favourite) and it’s the Tartan background stamp set. It’s a builder and you can create any colour combo that you want!
I added a sentiment with the Bold Alphabet Dies and the Super Script Stamp Set, both classic Altenew in my book lol.

Great cards Therese. I thought of you as soon as I saw the Retro set. Knew you’d make a card. You’ve done a few with this theme in the past and I always love them. The tartan has to be my favourite though (so I’m glad you did the video), as a Scot now living south of the border, it tugs at my heartstrings ❤️
