So… I adore this Washi but what will I do with it?? Today I have a fun idea and 2 cards to share. This is part of my Take 2 With Therese Series at Altenew and if you haven’t seen these videos before you can check them out HERE.
I started by creating a panel of Marbled Dream ‘wide washi’ and die cut a Mega Ampersand from the centre.
I added some black and white Retro Plantines flowers
and a heat embossed sentiment from the Delicate Flower Bed Stamp Set.
My second card uses the Mega Ampersand and a
stamped Dotted Blooms background
with a sentiment from the Flower Vine Stamp Set.

UM cough cough I think I am a hoarder of washi tape (and pattern paper!). Actually Ms S (20) has been using my washi tape lately to mask her drawings. I have insisted she asks first in case she wants to use a “favourite” 🙂 Often the reply is “but you haven’t even used that one!” um!

Love the shiny washi on the black and white. Gives it more of an impact and tones the shimmer too. Not that I kind the shimmer, because it is fun! Reminds me is shimmer marble for some reason. That has been in the rain a lot, or well aged!
