  1. I love the bright colors of these cards-it does put a smile on my face! Thanks for participating!

  2. I love this colour combo and that flower stamp. The hex layout and the sentiment are great too. I feel sorry for the owl though, looks like he can’t reach the ice cream. Is there something about staying home that makes one want more unhealthy food?

  3. Love your beautiful blended background and the way you die cut the shapes and arranged them. The 2nd card is so cute with those animals spaced apart. Cute sentiment.

  4. The colors on this were just stunning, such a beautiful design. Stay happy, and stay well!

  5. Oooo what a stunning colour combo and I love how the colours all subtle tone in with the next one, the animal one is very cute though.

Oooo what a great idea to cheer everyone up, in these strange times, Luv Sam x

  6. So happy to find you here Therese… that mondo is too beautiful and your blending, perfection. I do think your husbands idea also so appropriate right now. Thanks so much for joining in!

Thanks for that, Therese! 💛💛💛 (sent this comment already, but something happened and it posted under “Anonymous” so I’m resending it here and hope it works correctly with my name)

  53. You always create such beautiful, unique cards. I do love this one and will be trying to copy it soon., You’re so right that we are very fortunate to have this hobby. I’m thankful every day. When I get stressed (or just bored) I go up to my craft room and make a card, maybe trying a new technique or simply going through my stash and trying to get creative. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, but either way, it seems to ease my worries and I feel better.

  54. Lovely cards and especially love the socially distancing critters. They are definitely “little pieces of happy”. Thank you for sharing.

  55. Your color combination is great. The flower card is really pretty, and the “socially distanced” card has a great sense of white space. Thanks for sharing!

  56. Therese I love everything about both of your cards & am delighted you chose to include the video of the first one using EH mondo Sakura as I don’t “do” Instagram. Not enough hours in the day for it. I am also delighted you showed the critter card here though. I wouldn’t have not wanted to see it as it is the sweetest! Your DH sounds like he’s a bit of a “brat” like mine with his humour. lol Thanks so much!

  57. Oh I adore the colour combo and geometric design! And the sentiment is perfect! (and would apply to any time for me, not just these days, lol!)

  63. Hehe, too peopley outside, not the first time I’ve heard that, but it’s the first time I’ve seen it as a sentiment! Brilliant! Love your hex design and I think your hubby was right the second ‘socially distanced’ card is perfect!! (Though I really love your floral one too)! Hugs, Wends xoxo

I really love the hexagons and think your comment about social distancing with your second card I a hilarious comment during the crazy times we are dealing with. So if my other comment went thru to you, you deserve both 😉 thanks for sharing!!!❤️

    1. Hey Deborah, thanks so much for the double comment! From what I can tell WordPress can be a little fickle at times, and I do appreciate that you returned to comment as you have made my day!! thanks so much, Stay safe (and inside crafting lol.) Crafty hugs, Therese

  84. I love the colors you used in your card and the technique for setting the hex pieces on the base. I actually wanted to make a card like this the other day and wasn’t sure how to get a good spacing. Thanks for sharing! Now I think I will go make one as well. By the way, LOL regarding your husband’s idea of proper distancing!! We will make it through, right?

  85. That first card is beautiful! The color combo is so pretty and so is the stamp. I love the sentiment on the second. It’s so funny-too peopley. Ha!! I just delivered today 86 cards that I made for nursing home residents. That was a labor of love. I have never made that many cards and probably never will again. I cheated on the last two and just got them out of my stash. I made them a long time ago. I was just too tired to make any more lol.
