I wanted to create a real ‘loose’ watercolour background and highlight an image within this…. But first, did you know that this is part of a Hop celebrating a new release from Altenew and if you are hopping along you should have arrived here from TANIA’s amazing Blog!
I have 3 cards and a video to share today starting with some beautiful layered flowers from the Flowering Cistus Stamp Set.
The sentiment is from the same set, with a simple die cut from the Bold Greetings Die Set.
I acutually ‘production lined’ these flowers so thought I may as well use the extras on a second card.
This easy die cut background was created with the Layered Snowflake Stars Cover Die.
And the sentiment is from the Blossom Wreath Stamp Set. Which I also used in my next card design and is featured in the video linked below.
The butterfly is die cut from the Alluring Blooms Paper Pack from the Mix & Mariposa Die Set. And I added some Satin White Sequins to finish, because I could lol.
My video today was inspired by Norine, she always creates the most amazing loose watercolour backgrounds and I wanted to try and recreate that, check out this beautiful card right HERE!
