Do you like to use silhouette stamps? Today I have a fun way to use silhouette stamps and colouring on the same card. But first….
Did you know that this is part of a Hop celebrating a new release from Altenew so you should have arrived here from the KELLY’s wonderful Blog!
I’m going to start today with some simple Watercolor Brush Marker Refill colouring (phew… that’s a mouthful lol) and I love that I can use just the outline layer of the Sparkled flower and totally change up the look!
I added a simple striped background from the Striped Circle Stamp Set as well as the necessary sparkle using some tiny Antique Gold Sequins.
Next is the Pen Sketched Silhouette which may look very familiar… and that’s because it is a silhouette version of the beautiful Pen Sketched Stamp Set (but facing opposite-ly). Isn’t it divine!
I decided to try out the Watercolor Pencils… without water and do some simple shading on these images. This sentiment is from the Mega Label Love set (which I just had to have lol)
And I added a little design paper from the Celebrations Paper Set as well as a couple of Satin White Sequins.

I loved the Sparkle stamp set from the moment I saw it and it’s on the wish list. Your cards are beautiful as always. I have an old Derwent Woodless watercolor pencil set that’s hardly been used. I was thinking maybe I should add the Altenew set to give me more variety in colors. I love how you used it here, but would like to see it used with water!
