How to CASE an Amazing Card for Christmas + Video!

Do you think that ‘copying’ someone elses card is wrong? There are many different thoughts on this… including my own lol. But, that is pretty much what today’s card is all about!

I have ‘copied’ my wonderful friend Michelle’s card in this year’s CASE me A Christmas Card. Well, it’s not an exact ‘copy’ as much as an inspiration and that is exactly what CASE’ing is all about… it means to Copy And Share Everything. And I have to say that our papercrafting community would have to be one of the most wonderful sharing communities that I know!

For my card today I used the Brilliant Bauble stamp set from Altenew which I adore,

Lostinpaper - Altenew - Brilliant Baubles - Plentiful Pine (card video) 1

and the sentiment came from the another fab set called Plentiful Pine.

So now would you like to see how Michelle was inspired by me, I know I do! You can check out her card right HERE. Thanks so much for stopping by today, I do hope that you are finding some time for relaxing during this silly season. Holiday hugs to you all,

  1. I love your card – the extra little details on the baubles are perfect! I’m sorry, no videos from me recently- I have a bandage around my right index finger, which is not a good look on camera! (S’ok, it’s healing nicely now 😊)
Thanks so much for being my guest!

    1. hahaha yes, we must look our best lol. But I am glad to hear that you are healing and there may be more tutorials on the horizon. Glad you like the card Michelle and thank you so very much for inviting me along with your Christmas series this year!

  2. CASEing is the sweetest form of flattery, from my view! How wonderful for the two of you to share Michelle’s wonderful Christmas tradition!
Your card is fabulous – you are so good at creating these baubles in the prettiest colors, Therese!
    =]

  3. I love the simplicity of this card and the colors. I’ve never Case’d a card before but maybe I should. And I would start with any of your ideas.

    1. CASE’ing is such fun, you can even CASE your own card, sometimes there may have been something you wanted to try in a different combo of colours or change it up a little. Hope you have fun with it Sheron!

  4. I love the simplicity. Clean and festive enough for sure. I love it. I am having to think of simple this year, my brain is too full of all kinds of other stuff. Thanks for sharing Therese!!! I have an old Cricut that I do have a Christmas decorations cartridge for! YAY.

  5. I love these colours for a Christmas card and your sentiment looks perfect to me. It was great watching how you put it together. I also love my spring assisted scissors and get agitated when they are missing (which they are at the moment!)

  6. CASing is a great idea especially if you have seen something you love, or a new idea to try! (Or of course if you’ve lost your mojo!) Your card is beautiful, Therese! A perfect CAS.

  7. I almost always get my ideas by Case-zing ideas from other card fanatics! I hope in return that I also inspire others with my cards. It is the best way to gain inspiration!
