FUN tips for Creating Mens Cards – LIVE Video!

Do you struggle with creating cards for Men? I have a fun card with some shared tips that I use to create Cards4Men. And I have a whole Playlist of Masculine card inspiration right HERE!

This card was made using the final sketch at CASE this Sketch for which I was on the Design Team, check it out HERE. And if you want to see my original card inspiration for this Retro Sketch you can see that one HERE, it’s a blast from the past for me lol.

I cut my ‘stripes’ with the Color Me Strips from Ellen Hutson.

And a nice simple birthday sentiment from an older set called Super Script from Altenew

You can see my LIVE video here or watch it in HD at YouTube.

If you want to join me for my next LIVE use THIS LINK on Thursday February 11th at 8am (Brisbane AEST time). Looking forward to having some more fun then! Hugs

  1. Hola, Therese! What a wonderful card! It reminds me of Laura Bassen and her geometric cards. 💜 I hope all is well Down Under! Warm hugs from San Antonio, Texas. 🇺🇸

  2. I caught most of your live. I really like this card design and it was a great idea to use the final CTS prompt.

  3. Thanks so much for joining in as we say goodbye to CTS, Therese! Your card is such a fun take on that Sketch – only you, my friend!
Loved your LIVE, and will see you again in a couple of weeks!
    =]

  4. There are so many things to like about this blog post! First of all, the card is wonderful and I am going to try making one myself. But, I also like the links because I found several items that are headed to my wish list….Color Me Strips, Halftone Circles (the actual stamps), and that eraser (LOVE it). Thanks for your video demonstration and for posting.

  5. I had this on my calendar but was so busy making cards that I totally missed it live! lol I’ll give it another try on Feb 10th.

  6. I have been looking at mid century modern decorations recently on Pinterest and this card totally reminds me of that. Thanks for sharing and hope you are very well.

  7. Love this card. I need to make a few more cards and male ones too – cards in my stash are a little low.

Just watched your live, a day and a bit late. Sorry was at work in my new job at 9am Melbourne time! Checked the orginal challenge and funny I entered way back then! 😉 You need to share a pick of hubby’s wine rack, I’m intrigued by the colour combo. Agree there are so many stamps, I have a pretty good collection, there always seems to be more I “need”!.

    1. I will ask him if he’s happy for me to share, it’s sure been a work in progress starting with a lot of digging and then the dust from the sawing and sanding… I am soooo happy it’s done now lol. Glad you got to join the LIVE. I plan to get a little more organised but do have to work out an email reminder system maybe? and a pre list as there were people crafting along with me too, which was fab! Hope you had a great weekend x

  8. I’m so bummed I had to be at work during your live. I just watched the replay, and really enjoyed your whole thought process. Your masculine card tips are wonderful! Looks like I’m calling in sick for work on Wed. February 10th at 4pm (Minnesota, USA time) so I can join your next “live”. What’s more important, right?
