Where do you find your inspiration? I have so many ‘go to’ places but today I was WON over….

But first did you know it’s time for another Craft-A-Flower release from Altenew and this one is the beautiful Cosmos. And did you arrive here from TINA’s fabulous Blog? if you did, then you are in the right place!

Alright, so inspiration where do you find it? Today I wanted to create some white watercolour Cosmos flowers and when I did a search on Pinterest I found this most amazing card HERE so a Big Thank You for the inspiration! And so my whole Watercolor Pencil background changed from grey to green lol.

I also wanted to create my own watercolour effect on the flowers and you can watch the process in the video linked below.

  6. I have loved Cosmos since I was a child, my mom always planted one huge section of our garden with them. These dies perfectly capture the delicate beauty of the flower.

  18. WOW. Love the background. Tip to tip watercolouring is one of my fav ways to watercolour – I feel I have more control. Not sure I have ever been brave enough to use black! Good for you, it gives a stunning result. Yes I did find time to watch the video while waiting for my youngest to finish coaching netball tonight, I had 5 minutes! I finished my walk early.
