Altenew Whimsical Wonder Stamps/Dies/Stencils/Embossing Folders Release Blog Hop & Giveaway | Video

Do you use your Design Paper or are you like me and cherish (hoard) it lol.? I am on a mission to change that starting with 2 bold designs today!

But first, this post is part of a Hop celebrating a new release from Altenew so you should have arrived here from the ZINIA’s wonderful Blog.

I started today with a simple bold red panel of colour from the Poured Acrylic Paper Pad to which I added a two tone Mega Hello,

and a heat embossed subsentiment from the Bouquet of Love Stamp Set.

My next card uses another sheet of design paper but this time I stamped the Bouquet of Love directly over top.

I popped up a Rounded Rectangles die cut in the centre and added a combo sentiment from the Flowering Cistus and Delicate Flower Bed sets.

You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at YouTube.

  1. This paper sure did grab my attention as soon as I saw the pics. I thought how did she do this technique – not thinking it was paper of course. I too love to save my precious pattern paper – but seeing your cards I should use mine. Well maybe. lol

  2. Wow you really showed the awesome potential of these papers. The two tone sentiment and the gelly roll pen additions work so well with the paper.

  3. Been there, saw that, LOved them both!! Now about that water-y water colored patterned paper… if anyone can make it happen, I put my faith in you, Therese! xx

  4. Absolutely beautiful cards. I had thought when I first saw your cards you had created the paper yourself with alcohol inks. That pad will be win my shopping basket when it becomes available here ❤️

  5. OMG Therese, yes – HOARD! It was like you were speaking directly to me! Beautiful cards, thanks for the inspiration!

  6. That Poured Acrylic paper is a game changer! I love how you let it take center stage, yet creating interesting and beautiful cards!

  7. I really like the yellow/blue card! I am always thinking about making a card with the popped up cutout except at the moment I am making a card. I am going to put it on my list of to-do items for this week and give it a try – yours are always so pretty. Thanks!

  8. Those background papers are fabulous!! I don’t patterned paper often, but I might have to make an exception for those. Love your cards, Therese!!

  9. Therese…you never disappoint!! I love your use of the new papers on these cards!!

  10. First time I’ve seen poured acrylic backgrounds and they are AMAZING! What fun cards they made.

  12. The paper is amazing but your cards are simply perfect! Loved them (as always). Thank you!

  13. I enjoyed your video- you always make me laugh a bit- I know what you’re talking about re beautiful paper! I love these marbled papers and my favorite is blue and yellow one. I like how you stamped on the paper and added dimension to the die cut portion.

  14. i really like how you used the Poured Acrylic papers on your cards, especially the second one with the popped up rectangle. I am going to try that for sure? So pretty!

  15. Love all of the dimension you gave to your cards! Really imaginative and interactive 🙂

  16. Gorgeous cards! I absolutely love how you used the paper while not losing the beauty of it!

  17. Wonderful to see the beautiful paper showcased as well as that gorgeous stamp. Thanks for the inspiration.

  19. I really like the paper packs. Checking out the video for more info on how the designs came together!

  20. So dramatic and gorgeous, Therese … such beautiful design ideas! I always forget about stamping on PP … don’t have a lot of it at all (must be one of those unusual card makers!), but do have some that would lend itself to these techniques. As ever, yummy inspiration, thank you! Hugs, Anita 🙂

  21. Unfortunately I’m a patterned paper hoarder 😆 I tend to buy more than one pack of the paper i love just so i can use it without fear of running out
