Do you like to accept a challenge? You know what….. I did!
Today I am Playing Cards with Friends, specifically my incredible friend Michele from I Card Everyone!
And here is the drill, it’s for ‘National Gardening Day’ and here’s me without even a green toe, let alone finger or thumb lol.
Showers or Flowers…. Something New…. and I can’t use Blue! eek,
How do you do a ‘shower’ without blue haha, so I did find a way….. kinda, and I know you have seen me use this product before now, but when I acutally coloured this image the Watercolor Coloring Book from Altenew was ‘new to me’, is that going to pass the challenge? and finally Blue, is purple a shade of blue…. no? Phew!
Now, let’s see how it turned out!
I decided to try one of the ‘no-line’ images and colour with the Woodless Watercolor Pencils and I added a simple sentiment from the Paint-A-Flower: Carnations set.
and as for my ‘shower’, how about some clear droplets?

Therese, you’ve conquered my challenge with flying colors – particularly the grey!! However, one cannot make purple without blue, can one?? I’m going to look the other way – especially since I think this is the most beautiful card I’ve seen this week!

Beautiful card. Love the colours, though you were most definitely pushing it with the purple, naughty girl. The use of the grey card makes a lovely contrast with the white background and complements the coolness of the blues (purple) beautifully. We all love it ❤️

Those watercolour pencils really added some fun texture over top of the painting, it looked so different before that I wish I had of taken a photo… Thanks so much Barb, so happy you like it!
