I adore elephants on baby cards, I don’t what it is about them but they totally make me smile. Today I have some fun Penny Black stamps and even though this card went back and forth a few times, I eventually did manage to finish it.
I’ve linked all the products below or you can head over to Penny Black. Hugs,
Other Supplies: Prismacolor Pencils – Cool Grey 70%, Slate Grey, Sky Blue Light. Light blue Hemp Twine.
I know it’s meant to be a goose, but I wanted a duck and cause it’s yellow it’s a duck… now. I had so much fun creating my little ‘old school’ storybook scene and when you want a little simple shading then Prisma’s are my go to choice. You can find this card over at The Alley Way Stamps Blog. And while I’m here you may have already heard that TAWS is sadly closing it’s doors, but that means that you can buy their fun stamps at an incredible 40% discount, so head on over!
Oh my goodness, today turned out to be a mass of die cutting, but well worth it I think. I kept the card quite CAS because of all the work that was involved int he background panel (and I didn’t want to cover it). I filmed as I created so you could watch the process.
One of my all time fave watercolouring techniques, Distress Ink watercolouring is so easy as well as a great way to get more from your stash! I’m on holidays at the moment and was hoping to find some crafty time… my husband has other plans… maybe next week lol.
Something a little different for me today. Sometimes I really struggle to get that nice ‘baby pink’ when I use Copics or pencils so decided to get out the blender pen with my Angel Pink Memento Luxe, and the colour is perfect! I filmed as I created for you to watch.

As usual I was inspired by the colours of the inspiration but I also focused on the ‘children’s’ aspect in my design. Of course I had to play with some new product, and MFT’s came to the rescue with this fun Die-namics sailboat die!
Having some fun today making a monochromatic card (does a pink nose count?) using some sweet Penny Black products, a little different to my usual style but I thought it would make for a sweet baby card.
It’s so nice to play along with this week’s CAS(E) this Sketch, thanks yet again for another awesome sketch!
I have linked all the products below, and for more fab Penny Black inspiration have you visited their new SIMPLICITY at it’s best blog, it’s incredible!
