Heaps of fun today, actually making a quick card using all those fab inks that I was telling you about in my previous Back to Basics video. And just in case you are missing me I’m up in sunny Cairns celebrating a friend’s 50th… so Cheers!
Who would’ve thought that ‘Ink’ was so complex…. well, it’s not really, but it does pay to think about which ink you need to use and when. Today I created a video sharing just that for my Cardmaking – Back to Basics series!
Today I have a video touching the tip of the iceberg of ‘Card Design’ and in particular using the ‘Rule of Thirds’. You know when you sometimes look at a card and the ‘balance’ or ‘layout’ just doesn’t feel quite right, that’s when I go back to this rule and it can really help me, so I thought I would share.
Pastels aren’t my normal ‘go to’ colours but I think they look really pretty here. You can see me colour this little fella in this video HERE.
ETA: Just wanted to say that this fabulous vellum idea is not mine, I found it in our wonderful blogland somewhere… I think it was on Youtube, but alas cannot find it again to link the wonderful person who shared it with me. If I find it I promise to link it here. But to whomever you are, a big thanks!
It’s time for another Back to Basics installment and today I thought it was time to bite the bullet and head straight on in and make a card. I can’t think of any better way to share ideas, tips and techniques so let’s get started!
I’ve had some requests to create a Back to Basics in Cardmaking series. It’s taken me a while to get my act together but finally it’s here. I decided to incorporate tips and techniques in this series as well as ways to ‘reclaim’ your mojo and how to find inspiration. Today I start with an introduction to the products.
