Layered Patterned Paper Piecing!

Day 5 and time for me to tackle Layered Patterned Paper Piecing with Dimension, reminds me of the old Paper Tole days.  I’m having a blast hanging out with my parents, just fitting a little card making in around the cuppa’s and shopping expeditions lol.  I’m also getting some design advice from my Mum who is uber talented when it comes to any kind of craft (and I mean any), she is incredible!

Graffiti at Muse!

This week for Muse I wanted to share a card I made for a guy who was leaving at work (for some reason I’m the designated creator of cards for all occasions at work…  which I’m sure may ring true to many of you as well lol)

This is a fun graffiti technique that was shared by Shari Carroll at the Online Card Class, and I especially love it for masculine designs.  I hope you have some fun with it and I can’t wait to see how you are inspired.

All of the deets can  be found here on the Muse blog….     but here’s how it works:

  • Use ANYTHING you want from your stash to create a project inspired by this week’s Muse.
  • In your post, explain how you were inspired and link back to the Muse blog.
  • Provide supportive comments on at least 3 other member’s submissions.
  • Vote for three of your fellow member’s submissions.

You are the Bomb!

Hiya, I’m back from Rockhampton and off to work this morning, but thought I would quickly share a publication for the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft magazine, this card was accepted for the Valentine feature…  I know I’m a little late but I kinda forgot it was there.

My plan this week was to finally catch up after all our recent travels and birthday parties etc etc, but now some close friends are coming to visit this weekend which will be fabulous, so maybe my ‘restful’ time will start next week.

Hope you are having a great week!
