I’m so excited to be back this year with my Same but Different Christmas Card Series. If you were here last year then you know that this series can contain many different ideas / themes / styles… well, almost as long as it is the ‘Same but Different’ .
Today I thought I would kick things off with a theme, so lots of different products and every card unique but all with a similar theme and colour palette, all to make creating so much quicker and easier.
You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at Youtube.

I felt like adding some retro colours to these fab WPlus9 birds and for a change instead of colouring I decided to paper piece… lots of fussy cutting, gluing and it was so relaxing! Slight Oops, before I start, it any of you are wondering where those little Panda’s have gone…. consider it a sneak peek but I promise they will be back next week, just ‘user error’ on the technical front here. Now back to your usual viewing…
So I’ve been put up for a challenge from MicahsCrafts and if you haven’t met him yet then you really are missing out, he has the funnest Youtube channel and his current self challenge is a 10 minute Craft Flash Dash… LOVE it!

I wasn’t too sure if I was up for the challenge, and looking at my card now I would definitely love to tweak it just a little, but that’s the joy of only 10 minutes. I just love that it stops me from procrastinating for literally hours sometimes lol. So thanks again for the inspiration Micah!
I was also inspired by the sweet colours and flowers from Anita’s Muse card this week as well as focusing on Lisa’s Wanna Sketch (Congrats GF, can’t believe it’s No. 20 already)!
Thanks again for visiting, see you again real soon.
Other Supplies:

Yes this is my final Cards4Men design and I’ve had a blast creating this mini series and with a bit of luck will be back soon with some more. Til then,
Happy Papercrafting!
Other Supplies:
Back with Day 9 and I’m trying Jennifer’s technique Multi-Inking and Gilding: Floral Builder Stamps. I used some fine glitter to create my stripes and ‘gilded’ leaves instead of embossing them as I was hoping the glitter would shimmer just that little bit more…. probably didn’t expect it to glitter up this much though, is there anything as too much glitter?
Thanks for popping in again.
Other Supplies: Kaiser Rhinestones – Champagne. Couture Creations Pearls. Metal Skin – Glitter (Alison Ellis) Prismacolor Pencils – Parma Violet.
Hi everyone back today with some more homework. This is from Day 4 and a technique from one of my very good blog friends Marion Vagg. If you’ve not visited her blog then I suggest you head on over she is uber talented!
Thanks for stopping by!
Other Supplies: SBB Cardstock – Melon
Today at Muse I was thinking that it time for some flowers and with an untouched amazing set of stamps from WPlus9 (I know sacrilege right… I need to join Darnell’s NBUS challenge lol) called Fresh Cut Florals it was easy. So it’s one layered with some pencil shading for depth otherwise a fairly simple design.
I can’t wait to see how this inspires you!
All of the deets can be found here on the Muse blog…. but here’s how it works:
Other Supplies: Cardstock – Recycled. Prismacolor Pencils – Olive Green, Limepeel, Dark Purple.
Back with a video today using some matching dies and stamps, aren’t these just the best! I tend to buy dies that I think I can use for a dual purpose, now don’t get me wrong I would love to own a die for every stamp that I have, wouldn’t that be cool, but it’s just not practical, but I do love that these flower dies could be used independently , wouldn’t they look great cut out in patterned papers… in fact I think I might just do some now lol.
I was inspired to make this card by this amazing creation from Alice Wertz, all I can say is WOW!
You can see my video here or Watch it at Youtube.

Would you believe that I actually made this video a couple of months ago and forgot to share it…. doh! Obviously I was sick and this year has been a very busy one, but come on, how could I do that lol.
Other Supplies:
Definitely out of the box for me, I felt like making an unexpected card for one of my close friends who turned 40. Not my best photos…. but I’m sure you get the idea, ps her 5 year old son thinks it’s the best thing since sliced bread, the card is constantly in a state of flux!
Hugs honey,
Other Supplies: SBB Cardstock – Bubblegum. Hot Glue Gun. Papertrey Ink Flower Dies. Circle Punches. Hero Arts/Studio Calico – Houndstooth Background. Craft Wire. Assorted Rhinestones. Glue Gun.
Today I thought I would share a card that is not one layer lol, this is a card that I was lucky enough to have published with the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft magazine. LOVE these colours together!

SShhh, today we have a big surprise, we are celebrating a belated birthday hop for the gorgeous Anita, Oh, that’s right I can tell you now the secret’s out!
Hope you had the happiest of birthday’s Anita, it’s been so wonderful getting to know you and visiting in blogland.
Thanks for the heads up Bev & Darnell, I’m so happy I could join in the celebration also I wanted to let you know that the inlinkz to join the party is over at Darnell’s blog so you still have some time to share the party with Anita as well!
Other Supplies: Webster’s pages – Sparklers. Green Rhinestone. Gold sequins.
Back with another installment for the Online Clean & Simple class and this time the technique is faux letterpress… so I thought it really should be elegant so out came the damask. It’s been an eon since I’ve used this stamp and it’s still a stunner in my book.
Did you see I snuck in an inlaid paper piecing technique too… I couldn’t resist. Time for the next technique… so I’ll see you again real soon.
Other Supplies: Cardstock – Granite / Shadow. Stamps – Heidi Swapp – Damask. Sequins. Copics – T2.
Making cards for fun! I haven’t had the opportunity to do this in what feels like eons, life has been uber busy at the moment and no hope of settling down for a few more weeks yet. But I couldn’t resist Lisa’s Wanna Sketch and the colours in this Runway Inspiration are perfect, I thought I would also add the bunny for the ‘fur’ element too.
Riddle me this…. is it still a OLC when I have used coloured cardstock on top of a card base?
I’m out to brunch this morning and then it’s off to work for me. Hope your day is fun too!
Other Supplies:
It’s Christmas day in Australia, Hugs to you all!
I kept it simple for my Christmas card this year and I love the elegance of a silhouette, of course my ‘wish’ list is as long as the one this Santa is holding….. so cross my fingers lol. I made my card a little smaller and created my own ‘merry’ sentiment on my electronic die cutting machine, love that you can use any font and make it the exact size…. I really need to use my machine a lot more (I know my hubby would agree).
Wishing you all the absolute best holiday season, I’m looking forward to a day at the beach and eating heaps of great food today, see you on the flipside!
