I’ve had some requests to create a Back to Basics in Cardmaking series. It’s taken me a while to get my act together but finally it’s here. I decided to incorporate tips and techniques in this series as well as ways to ‘reclaim’ your mojo and how to find inspiration. Today I start with an introduction to the products.
You can see my video here or Watch it at Youtube.

Next I’ll show you some tips and tricks when making your very first card.
Other Supplies:
I look forward to this series, Therese! I have been stamping for 16 years or so, but there is always something to learn from another cardmaker. I love using Prismacolor pencils to color images. I learned how to use them by just practicing on my own; may not be the best technique but it works for me! It really is all about having fun, I think.
What a neat, concise intro. I also like how important it is find your own way and do what makes you happy. One sees too many frenetic copyists out there in you tube land, needing exact measurements and brand names…I’m sure that the enjoyment is found largely in making something that is one’s own, well it is for me anyway.
I’m looking forward to your mojo boosters. After 12 months of inaction I’m sure ready for some inspiration.
Thank you so much for starting this series, Therese. I have much fun with my cardmaking and this will help others to enjoy it as well…amateur and professional alike. Great job!
