Video : It’s time for ‘Action’…. Wobbles!

When I saw the smaller sized Action Wobbles I just knew I ‘had to have‘ them, and now my world is complete lol.  They are seriously the perfect size…  and for a person who makes very few ‘interactive’ cards, I’m hooked!  I decided to film as I created so you can watch the process.

You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at Youtube.

  1. Such a fun card, Therese! I love how the pattern on the background adds movement to this card, and your Action Wobble adds movement in a different way…Very cool 🙂

  2. fun card Therese. I just put some of those in my cart Saturday. I am looking forward to their arrival. Off to watch the video while I craft.

  3. Therese, this is just so adorable with that background…I giggled, too, when you wiggled him! 🙂 I need to find the small ones – all I have are the large & don’t like those as much at all. Hugs!

  4. I simply love all the cards that you create! This one included! I will pick up this set and will also pick up the dies as well as the wobbles! I will order through your site. Retro city here I come!

  5. I’ve just bought a pack of action wobblers and I can see now that I’ll have to get the mini ones too! Great background, that stamp is very cool.

  6. What a wonderful card! I love that background stamp and of course the cat is just the best. I had to have the background stamp and just bought it. Now off to find the You’re Retro set. You are such an amazing inspiration! Thanks for sharing.

  7. S0 cute, haven’t seen the wobble in ages. Great use of some old stash. Thanks for the inspiration to dig them out.

    1. Hi Anne,
I think it was maybe a wattle bird… but it could have been a Kookaburra, they are around here too. and Yes they do steal food out of your hand (or bread) at a barbie, but not very often lol.
Thank so much for visiting, Hugs Therese

  10. Love this adorable and fun card!! I have the larger wobbles but I’m going to put the mini wobbles on my list of “needs” 🙂

  11. Question? This is a little off topic for this video, but I’m wanting to purchase come Copies (when I order the wobbles from SSS) as they are on sale right now. Any tips? You may have covered this topic before. I am interested in obtaining colors for skin color, brights for flowers, and hair colors. Thanking you so much for your videos and blog.

    1. Hi Audrey, I love my Copics and though they are an expensive purchase they can be refilled an new brush tips added and I think I’ve already had mine for years and years. I made a conscious decision not to buy them all because really i only needed some from each colour family and then just make it work, but obviously the exception is going to be the browns, where I have a selection of light and darks. Here are my go-to faves,
      Skin (Caucasian) E000,E00,E11(sometimes)R20(for the cheeks)
Hair -blond to brown E50,E31,E33,E25 (sometimes E29
      Leaves – YG00,YG03,YG17 (I like them bright) a good duller green is G20 ,G24
      Blue green – I would get BG11,13
      Yellow – orange – Y11,Y13,Y17
      Reds – R22,R27
Pinks – these are difficult but the bright one I use the most would be RV00, RV02
You definitely need some greys, especially if you are only buying a few colours because you can use these to change the colours you have and add shadows, I like T0,T2 but the warm greys are another fave and look great on critters W0,W2,W4.
      Blues B000, B01,B02.
I do buy the refills along the way (not usually straight away) but especially for the lighter colours because they seem to run out the quickest.
Hope this is helpful, Happy Papercrafting! Therese
ps this sounds like a topic I could do a video on….

  12. You and your fussy cutting. You do such a great job of it, Therese. The cat is darling made more so by the wobble. I have had some large ones for a long time and rarely use them. My great grandson’s birthday is in a couple of months so I’ll be sure and use one on his card. I did one on a monkey when he was one and he kept trying to pull it off. I have the video and it’s so cute.

  13. I have the wobblers in my stash (the big ones) and forget to use them all the time. I should use them more because the effect is hilarious! Awesome card, love how the background also has a kind of movement!
